"You would think so." she mused, before holding up a different Spell. "Now... I shall play Harpie's Feather Duster to destroy your face-downs."

And a massive feather duster suddenly wiped across Tanya's field.

Except, only one card would vanish...

@tanya@ "Magic Jammer. Nice try though." She discarded a card.

A smirk crossed her lips, then. "Oh, but that just makes this better." She held up another spell. "Monster Reborn! I will now call forth a monster from my grave!" And she played the monster in question...

@tanya@ "The queen..." She smiled. "Hm, nicely done."

[YolkaEd]

Mai chuckled. "And I'm sure you're familiar with her effect... and that it only covers my monsters." she mused, before pointing at Tanya. "Now, Swords Woman! Attack her Swords Woman!"

With that, the amazon warrior shot for Tanya's monster, and swung her sword.

Despite their similar stats, the other swords woman couldn't take the other one with her, and was taken down.

@tanya@ She held her arm up, shield herself from the destruction.

"This leaves you open for attack from the queen!"

And the queen grabbed her sword, before shooting towards Tanya and slashing down at her.

Though in that instant, a barrier appeared around Tanya. Forcing the sword to bounce off.

@tanya@ "That was a skilled move. But..." She pulled a card from her graveyard.



@tanya@ "This was the card I discarded to the grave. So the attack failed."

She simply chuckled. "Well, you know what you're dealing with. I set a card, and end my turn."

@tanya@ "So first, I summon Amazoness Chain Master."



@tanya@ "Next. By paying 500 life points, I summon my Amazoness Paladin."

Likewise, Mai's warrior women stood at the ready; glaring at their foes.



Mai simply watched this in intrigue.

@tanya@ "Now, time to Overlay the both of them..." She said, as a number appeared on her forehead...35.

The two warriors jumped into a vortex.

"...a Number..." Mai uttered, as she narrowed her eyes.

[kelik]

@tanya@ "I summon, Number 35: Fiery Amazoness!" She put a card down, as a female figure spun out of the vortex, and landed on the ground.



@tanya@ "You don't seem surprised...you've seen this before haven't you?"

"...I fought a creep who had one as well." Mai spoke. "I still have it on me... but I'm not using it."

@tanya@ "Is that right? How curious..." She smiled. "Well, then you should know what they're capable of...Fiery Amazoness' skill activates. When she's summoned, I can destroy a spell or trap you control. I pick your face down."

The woman rose her iron fist and smashed it down on the ground, as a burst of earthy energy shot across the ground, toward the face down.

And the card was destroyed.



"...nh..."

@tanya@ "Then I'll equip her with this."



@tanya@ "Despite the fact she's an Xyz monster, she still counts as an Amazoness."

The charm appeared above her chest.

@tanya@ "Now, she'll attack the Queen."

She jumped back and ran at her queen.

@tanya@ "I activate Fiery Amazoness' skill. By removing an overlay unit, I can increase her attack by 1000 points until the end of the damage phase."

The girl's attack power skyrocketed, as a flaming aura appeared around her. She punched out her iron gauntlet.

Atk: 2000 + 1000 = 3000

The queen could barely grab her blade to try and defend with, before the punch knocked her off it.



She quickly crossed her arms as her life points depleted.

LP: 3400

And, due to the effect of the Heirloom, the Queen was summarily destroyed.

@tanya@ "I feel bad attacking my own kin...but I suppose we can think of it as training." She smiled. "I set a card and end my turn."

"Next, I play the spell Elegant Egotist! With Cyber Harpie Lady on my field, I may Special Summon Harpie Lady Sisters!" As she held up that card, a triad of harpies appeared.





"Next, I will play this!" Mai called, as she held another spell out. "Triangle Ecstacy Spark!"



As the sisters felt a rush of power flow through them, they grinned at their foe.



"...and then... I play the spell I set down before playing Card of Sanctity... Amazoness Spellcaster. Now, I will swap the ATK of your Amazoness with my Amazoness!"

And, as a mystic force eminated from Mai's field, the strength of the two amazons was swapped.

The fiery amazoness knelled a she felt her strength get drained.

Atk: 1500

@tanya@ She gasped at that. "...though just so you know, my number cannot be destroyed by anything but another number."

"I know... but this'll bring you down a notch!" She pointed straight at the Number. "The field's open! Swords Master, Sisters, Cyber Harpie Lady, attack!"

With cackles and roars, the three (well, five) monsters rushed forward to strike at Tanya's Fiery Amazoness.

Indeed the amazon didn't get destroyed...but it didn't change the fact she was curbstomped. She ended up on her back, dizzy eyed.

@tanya@ "Ngh!" And she took massive damage from it.

As everything returned to normal, she set a card. "...I'm done."
