Heartland Warehouse: Big Mistake?

@misty@ She groaned a bit.

@jun@ "Really now..." He laughed and snapped his fingers.

One of the two thugs came up with a pocket knife...take that as you will.

Immediately, she grit her teeth at the sight of the knife.

The knife came close to Carly, and...cut her ropes. The two helped her up.

@jun@ "Alright, let's get this started then." He smirked and lead the group off.

"...whuh?" Carly uttered, before she was lead off. "Hey, don't push!"

[kelik]

When they left, Misty was alone in the warehouse.

@misty@ "!" She gasped. "Carly's using that deck of hers...she still doesn't know what kind of power it has..." She gritted her teeth and struggled. "Dammit...I have to do something!"

They took Carly outside near the peer, and some more thugs showed up, rolling out some duel disks. They forced one in Carly's arms.

@jun@ While Jun took his and slipped it on, smirking.

With a baffled gulp, she looked at her duel disk before she looked meekly at Jun; weakly chuckling. "Uh... you sure we can't pick a different game to play? Like... hopscotch?"

Suddenly, her duel disk turned on by itself.

@jun@ As did Jun's. "You're already knee deep in this game, reporter. There's no backing out now..." He smirked. "Let's duel!" He drew his opening hand.

With a small groan, she drew her own hand.

@jun@ "That'd be me..." He drew.

@jun@ "Alright...first, I set up the field Spell Chaos Zone." He slapped in a card, and suddenly, they appeared in a warped plane of space.

Carly gawked at this area. "Chaos Zone?"

@jun@ "It's a fun little field spell...you'll see what I mean in a second." He laughed a bit, and held up. "Next, I play Allure of Darkness!"

Carly gulped squeamishly, as she shirked a bit backwards.

@jun@ "Getting nervous? Well, you should be. When Necroface is removed from play, we both remove 5 cards from the top of our deck out of play as well." So he milled his deck.

@jun@ He laughed. "Alright, not bad..."

@jun@ "Finally, I summon Peten the Dark Clown in defense mode."



The clown appeared, and blew his tongue out at Carly.

@jun@ "Oh, and two face downs. Your turn, missy."

"Yeah! No one ever beats Jun and his Different Dimension deck!"

"Idiot!" The crew groaned at their pal.

With a gulp, she quickly drew a card.

Seeing that card, she blinked. ...geez... when did my deck become like this? Looking back at her opponent, she nodded. "...I'm going to activate Fortune's Future!" She held out a spell card. "One of the monsters you made me remove from play was Fortune Lady Dark, so I can return her to my graveyard and draw two cards!" Returning her back to the grave, she drew.

And seeing the cards she got from that, she smiled. Neat! "Next, I'll summon Fortune Lady Wind!" In a gust, a being appeared before her.





"Her effect activates! When Normal Summoned, I can destroy any number of Spell and Trap cards according to how many Fortune Ladies I have on the field; meaning that I'll destroy one of your face-downs!"

With a huff, the spellcaster held her staff in the air, causing a ferocious gust to rocket towards one of Jun's face-down cards.[rand=77467175874683962254389152452427380422492416366483933661835552099]

And there goes his Negate Attack.

@jun@ "Oh well, that's life." He kept smiling though.

"...I bet you won't keep smiling for long after this." Carly uttered with a small gulp, before she held up a different card. "There's a reason I didn't use Wind's effect to take out your Chaos Zone. Because... I activate a Field Spell of my own!" She slammed that card down. "Future Visions!"

Suddenly, the warped space that the two found themselves in was swarmed with what seemed to be mirrors showing different duels the world over, as nothingness kept expanding beneath them, aside from all these mirrors.

@jun@ He looked around. "Now I was waiting for something like THAT..." He pointed at his second face down.

Carly grit her teeth as the mirrors faded, before she drew a card.

"...well... I'm at least well-defended." she reasoned, as she slid three face-down cards down. "Your turn..."

The warp zones around them glowed, as 6 of the orbs of light flew into them.

@jun@ "By paying a cost of over 4 Chaos Counters, I can special summon a banished monster whose level is equal to the removed counters." He took a card and put it down. "So with 6 counters, I can bring out this!"



A figure clad in dark armor appeared, wrapping himself in his cape.

@jun@ "Next, his skill kicks in. If he's special summoned to the field, I can Banish 2 cards from your grave, and mill 2 more to take their place!" He pointed out.

And the monarch threw his cape back, as he rose his glowing arm.

"Oh no!" Carly grit her teeth as she shielded herself, as two more cards slid away.

@jun@ "That's just the start of your troubles..." He smirked. "I tribute my dark clown to summon another Monarch, Caius!"



Another ruler appeared, this time he seemed a bit more intimidating.

@jun@ "I activate Petan's skill. Since he was sent to the grave, I can banish him to summon a familiar friend..." He searched his deck and put out...



Another clown, who blew more rasberries at Carly.

Carly grit her teeth, stepping a touch back from this.

@jun@ "Oh don't worry, he won't be sticking around...Caius' skill!"

Suddenly the dark clown vanished, and a dark orb flew to Caius' hand.

@jun@ "When Caius is tribute summoned, I can banish 1 monster on the field...and if it's a dark type monster, I can inflict 1000 damage to you!" He pointed. "So eat this! Black Shade!"

The emperor thrust out his hand, and sent the sphere hurling toward Carly.

Carly could barely react before the sphere struck her directly, sending her toppling to the floor with a heavy thud.

The thugs laughed. "Man! This chick's toast!"

"Yeah! The boss is on his A game today! She'll be done soon!"

@jun@ "Lucky for you, Delg can't attack the turn he's summoned...but Caius can." He pointed at Wind. "Caius! Smash that fortune lady, now!"

Caius rushed to the spellcaster, and thrust his claw out.

The moment it seemed like Caius' fist would smash Wind, however... she suddenly set her hand on his, bringing him to a halt.



"...just... in time..." she managed to utter, having activated one of her face-downs.



With that, Wind's eyes widened, and she thrust her hand against Caius' fist to push him away, before she vanished from view.

Caius groaned as his fist passed through the air, growling at Carly before he jumped back.

@jun@ "Tch, not bad..." He frowned as another orb appeared around him. "Before I finish, I activate Pot of Greed from my hand." He drew for 2.

And lo and behold, Wind did just that.



"Now... I'll play my own Pot of Greed, to draw two cards!" And she did just that.

Looking these over, she nodded. "...I'll set these two... and now, I'll tribute Wind to summon Fortune Lady Earth!" With that, Wind vanished, and in her place...
