Shien's Castle: Status Report!

"Looks like we're almost there..." Said Tori, as she rode in Jack's wheel.

"...hm." The man silently said, riding along.

Akiza rode along too, carrying the twins. "I wonder what Shien will say..."

"We have crippled the enemy forces, a little, so he should be pleased." he said, flying alongside the riders.

"...though the news about Ha Des may raise some concerns."



"...well, for now he'll be happy to hear that Nightshroud's not gonna be planning anything from that settlement."



He remained silent as he rode along with Crow; glancing towards Luna from time to time.

"Got that right..." He smirked.



"Still, we'd better keep up guards up... just in case..." He said.

"Well, at least we could relax at the castle a bit...if they're fine with that anyway."

"Here's hoping."

As they rode along, Jack noticed something in the corner of his eye. "...."

"Mr Jack, what's wrong?" Asked the young girl.

"...nothin'. For a second or two, I thought I saw someone out there..."

"Really...?" she muttered, looking back as well.

"..." If there was, he probably would sensed it. But the nature of this world was too alien to him. These creatures are not like humans.

If Astral hasn't sensed it then, he would now, as would everyone else, when a figure in white appeared infront of the motorcycle's paths.

"!" He came to a halt and grunted.

"Whoa!" She gasped at that.

She did the same, surprised. "Who the...?"



@white@ A female ninja appeared, kneeling before them a bit with her eyes closed. "...Signers, I presume?"

"...who wants to know?"

Narrowing his eyes, he came to a halt.



Crow looked at this ninja with a tilted head.



And Leo just gawked at her.

"Who are you...?" He scowled, stopping his bike...



He stopped his Duel Runner, glaring at the ninja carefully...

With her Fairy Dragon card in hand, she was able to hear the dragon whispers in her ear. "It's okay, guys. The Fairy Dragon says she is not part of the enemy. I think she's ally with Shien."

"Um....okay..." he said, slowly letting his card down. Because he was ready to sic his Gagaga Giant on her.

@white@ "...hm, she's right. At least about the first part." She rose. "I am called the White Dragon Ninja, an elite warrior in service to Ninja Grandmaster Hanzo. I'm sorry if I startled you all. Our clan isn't exactly with Shien's force, but we're not against them at the moment."

"I see...what brings you here then?"

@white@ "My clan is in need of your help."

"Help?" She blinked.

[Ninetalesuk]

"Help to fight against Nightshroud...?" He guessed.

@white@ She shook her head. "Not quite."

"What?" She looked surprised.

@white@ "You see, we recently took in two prisoners from Nightshroud's fortress. One of which you may know." She looked at Tori.

"Wha...?" She blinked.

@neos@ "I think she was referring to me..." Said Neos, as he appeared near Tori.

"Oh...!" She gasped. "A Neo Spacian!?"

"A Neo Spacian...?" He blinked.



"Nightshroud's fortress...?" He frowned. Would it mean that they've found Nightshroud's main base...? Could it be where Rainbow Dragon is...?

"...curious..." With a hum, Kite folded his arms.



"...well, if you've got a Neo-Spacian..." Crow remarked, as he rubbed his neck. "...well, it couldn't hurt to come along, I guess."



"...wait, shouldn't we head over to Shien first?" Leo noted. "I don't think he'd be happy if we didn't come back after dealing with the settlement..."



"...I would think it'd be obvious." Kite mused, as he glanced at the others. "We split into two. Four of us go to speak with Shien, and the others can go to meet with Hanzo's forces." He gave the Dragon Ninja a nod. "I will be one of those going to meet with Shien. We will regroup with Hanzo's forces after the debriefing."



"...right." With a nod, Crow glanced at Yusei. "You feel like heading off with him?"

[Ninetalesuk]

"....I think I'll go and help..." He said.

[kelik]

"I'll go too!" She nodded. "It's a Neo-Spacian, so, we should go."

"I'll stay here...what about everyone else?"

"I'll stay."

"I'll certainly go. I've been itchin' for more action."

[AnT]

"Yeah, me too!" he grinned, nodding wildly.

"I...guess I'll stay..."

"I'll stay with Luna." he said with a quick nod.



"Right; then I'll head off with the ninjas as well."



"...very well." He looked over at Shark. "And you, Kastle? To Shien or to Hanzo?"

Glancing at his sister, he closed his eyes. ".....I'll stay."



"Then, it's settled..." He nodded.

"Right." With that, he gave Yusei a nod. "Follow the ninja to their base. We'll meet up with you once we've given a report to Shien."

@white@ "Thank you." She smiled. "Please, this way." She rushed off.

"Hang on, kiddo." He sped after her.

"Waugh!" She gasped out as he put the pedal to the metal.

"Dammit, Jack..."

[AnT]

"Onward!!" he cheered, hopping on Yusei's bike.

Watching them ride off, he simply looked over at the others. "Let's continue, then. Shien's castle isn't that much further ahead." With that, he drove on down a different path from those heading after the ninja.

"Right." She followed along.

"I hope the others will be ok..."

It didn't take the group too long to return to Shien's castle, and like before, once they arrived, servants appeared to take care of their vehicles while they disembarked.



As he disembarked, he happened to glance over towards the courtyard, where someone was approaching them; escorted by some footsoldiers.

"You have returned..." As he stopped by the group, Enishi gave them a small nod. "...I see your numbers have dwindled."



"We split up. One group is handling an urgent matter." Kite spoke to the chancellor, as he folded his arms. "We're here to report to Shien about the destruction of Nightshroud's camp."

"So the attack was a success? Excellent." Enishi spoke. "Lord Shien will be most pleased to hear that..."



"...I doubt he'll be as pleased to hear how it was destroyed, though." he murmured. "An unexpected third party showed up to deal a surprise attack to Nightshroud's forces... one Ha Des."

He blinked. "...Ha Des? He still draws breath?"

[Ninetalesuk]

"We know Ha Des isn't an ally of Nightshroud..." He said. "But, what is more worrying is what Ha Des used to attack the camp.... a huge blue monster that looks like a warped Obelisk the Tormentor..."

"...a beast like..." His eyes narrowed. "...how distressing..."



"...do you know something?"

"...the situation's more dire than we realized." He gave the group a nod. "You'll have to come with me. We need to discuss this with Shien." With that, he turned to lead off, with his footsoldiers standing guard around him.



"...hm." With a hum, he motioned for the others to follow, before he walked on after.



"...you think we should just wait until they're done?" Leo whispered to his sister; a bit worried that all these war councils would bring his sister's spirits down further, which was something he didn't want her to go through at the moment.

"I...gotta hear this," she whispered, following the others.

"Let's go..." He nodded, walking after them.
