He rose his hand. "It's roar echos through out the battlefield like thunder...and it's lance is filled with the power of a lightning storm! Come forth, Dragon Kaiser: Vermillion!"



@vermillion@ The dragon flew out of the vortex and roared out, making sparks fly all over the field.

"A.ah..." He looked stunned at it's appearance. "This monster is..."

@ezel@ He stood ready too. "..."

"Scared now? Because you should be. Vermillion is my best card for a good reason after all..." He took out two of the three materials. "I remove 2 Xyz materials from Vermillion to activate his skill!"

@vermillion@ Two orbs around the dragon vanished in his electrical wings, as his eyes glowed.

"By doing that, and discarding 1 card from my hand, Vermillion can attack every monster you control."

"It can what?!"

"You heard me. Now go, Vermillion! Wipe out his entire front line! Vermillion Thunder Storm!"

@vermillion@ As he said that, electricity shot around Vermillion's wings, as it rose it's lance in the air, and brought down it down. Several bolts shot down at the witch and Ezel...

@ezel@ The lion warrior groaned out as the thunder bolts struck down, and destroyed him.

The witch did the same, as she vanished too.

"GUUUUUH!" And the jolts around Ashen danced madly, making him kneeled down, his D-Gazer flew off and hit the ground.

"Seems you felt it...this is a true duel, Ashen."

He stood up, grunting. Even without the Gazer, he can still see Vermillion, flying there. "It's powerful...but, it can't use it's attack again...good..."

"I wouldn't be too sure of that." Said the rude one, as he rose another card.



"Overlay Regen can act as a substitute for an Overlay Unit I used up."

"B.but that means..."

"Yep. Come my next turn, I can use his effect again. All I need is one more card, and this duel is mine."

"Boy, that looked very unfair." she mutter, with a finger lightly on her lips.

He looked over his hand, as it shook a bit...indeed, things looked bad. 'I don't have anymore monsters in my hand...I have Xyz Reborn, but it won't work on my turn...I'm gonna lose Ezel...' He looked over at his deck. 'I still haven't drawn a card yet though, so maybe...' He reached over and draw, closing his eyes. "...?" He slowly opened one up and gasped. "This...might work."

"...hm?" He blinked.

"This is my last chance, so here it goes...I set one card face down, and I'll use the spell card Bait Doll!"



"This will let me activate a set card, and if it's a trap, I can force it to activate...right?"

"Right..." He blinked. "Wait, that wouldn't be..."

"I reveal my own face down!"



"Xyz Reborn lets me target one Xyz monster from my grave, and special summons it. I choose Gold Lion: Ezel!"

@ezel@ Just like that, the beast-warrior returned and landed on his feet.

"Xyz Reborn acts as a substitute Overlay Unit..."

@ezel@ And an orb appeared around Ezel.

"That's all fine...if only he were a bit stronger."

"Unless you have something else in mind, you'll lose."

"...I know." He looked at his deck. "There's only one thing that'll save me now...Ezel's skill to special summon."

He looked to Ezel, as the last Overlay Unit disappeared...

@ezel@ He looked back at Ashen, nodding. As if to say "trust me".

"...alright, here it goes..." He put his finger on the top card...

"Duels can be tricky sometimes." She replied to Mimi.

[AnT]

"And intense. My insides can't stand the suspense." she smiled, glued to the duel. "Or it could be that school burrito I had for lunch."

"Come on..." He drew... "...it's here!" He smiled. "I special summon Gold Knight: Beaumains!"

"This is it...Ezel! Destroy Vermillion!"

@ezel@ With a proud roar, he leaped to the dragon with both sabers and swung down.

@vermillion@ The flaming swords were enough to bring down the mighty dragon, as it roared out and fell over, shattering.

"...." He took the damage calmly as usual.

The knight took his gold blade and ran at Rai, swinging the final blow.

He took it and lowered his head. "..."

"I....I won?" He looked surprised, as the images slowly faded out.

"Could be both." She replied shrugging.

[AnT]

"Hm?" Blinking at the fight. "Did...he win?"

"WHAT?!?" the black haired boy gasped, shooting up to his feet in shock. "He....beat Rai?!"

[kelik]

"So he did..." Said the curly haired boy.

He held his chest a bit, breathing a bit hard. He was still shocked it happened. "I...really..."

"...hmph." He deactivated his disk and turned around, walking off.

"Ah, Rai!" He called out.

"Congrats, you get to keep the card." He was out of sight.

He was about to follow, but decided not to. "Hm..." He looked at Ezel in his hand. "...he can't mean everything he said...that's not the Rai I knew..."

[Alien-Child]

Walks up behind Ashen, "Well, you got your card back. Everything now good?"

[AnT]

Bouncing over to Ashen's side, she sweetly smiled at him.

[kelik]

"Ah, yeah...everything's fine." He nodded, and looked over at Mimi. "Well, thanks for watching, guys...that was my first duel."

[Alien-Child]

"And you won." She said, "Good job."

[AnT]

"Yeah...even though I had no idea how that game works." she smiled.

[kelik]

He laughed a bit nervously, and nodded. "I'm Ashen by the way. Ashen Saikou."

[AnT]

Taking his hand, she shook it. "I'm Mimi!"

She could walk off, but... now that she got this deep. "Luna Wheeler. We're in the same class."

[kelik]

"Right, I recognize you...wait, Wheeler?" He gasped. "As in Joey Wheeler?!"

"Joey Wheeler?!" The curly haired kid gasped too.

"Joey Wheeler?!?" the black-haired teen gasped, simultaneously.

"Who...?"

A slight frowned crawled on her face, "Yeah... he's a relative."

"Aah..." He noticed the frown, and decided to back off from that. "Well, thanks for helping me, Luna."

Quietly, she eyed up at the tall girl.

[Alien-Child]

She nodded and turned to Mimi, nervous on how she was eyeing her "Uh... yeah?"

[kelik]

"Uuh, Mimi...?" He looked over, noticing it too. "I think it's getting a bit late out. Maybe we should all call it a day?"

[AnT]

As if she didn't hear Ashen, "What kind of accent you have there?"

"Accent?" She tilted a brow at the girl, "What you mean?"
