Heartland High School! An institution for learning, and molding young minds! This intro might've suited Yuma better, but oh well. Young teens come in and out of the school day after day...  "No no...I'm gonna be laaate!" Groaned a young blue haired youth, running toward his class. Ashen Saikou or Aichi Sendou, rather was your average kid in class. Much like other kids in the school, he also had a passion for dueling...except, he hardly ever duels the students. Heck, most students who aren't bullies barely knows the poor boy exists, perhaps due to his shy personality. "P.phew, made it..." He stumbled along the way. |

And right on time too, for the first bell rang, draw a huge crowd into the doors...pushing him through like he was invisible.

"....ugh..." He got up and rushed over to his seat, brushing himself off. "Right, settle down class." Said a teacher, as the rambunctious teens ceased their tomfoolery. "Seems we have a new student coming along today, so try to be on your best behavior." 'New student?' He blinked to himself. Cue whispers and such. |

 With a bright smile, she clasped her hands down. "Hello. My name is Mimi Tasogare. I just moved from Ocland. It's a little country town, so I'm not too experienced in big cities like this place. It's really beautiful, and I miss it so much, but I'm just happy to be here, because I know I can make all kinds of friends. I just love making new friends." And she put on a smile that would make any boy fall in love. |

And just about every boy in the class did indeed fall for her. You could practically see the hearts in the air. And a small blush from the boy, as he turned to the window. "Settle down..." The teacher said. "Alright, miss Mimi. Why don't you take a seat over there." He pointed behind Ashen's seat. Who didn't seem to notice. "Eyes forward, Mr Saikou." "A.ah, yes sir!" He squeaked out. |

He sighed when he was called out, earning a bit of a snicker from some boys. 'Just like any other day...' When the teacher had his back turned to the board however, the boy brought out a his book, as a certain card in a sleeve was inside. 'How strong can I be...nowhere near as strong as you, I'm sure...' He said when he looked at the card...  And a figure slowly appeared in front of him. Earning a glance from him, and a gasp. "!" He shook his head. 'I'm seeing things again...oh boy...' |

 In the back of the class, a girl slightly older than her class mates sat uncaring out into the window. She honestly doesn't care about school, but after a few years she was... well, slacking in education. When her father found out, he had some arrangment to make sure she stays on school. Thankfully she lied about her age, doesn't want that kind of attention. A new girl.... whoopie-do! She rolled her eyes. |

"Hm...?" When she got to her seat, she too thought she saw the same thing. "Hm..." Meanwhile, in the far back corner, a tall teen, with spiky black hair, was behind a book, pretending to be studying. But really, he was quietly opening a booster pack he bought from a kid, before class. Carefully, he took out the cards... Dammit!! I was hoping this pack would have something to help me beat that guy!! I suck!! Crunching the cards in fury, No, it's all because of that Kai! I used to be the best in that store! Think he can waltz in there with his cool hair and beat me in my game?! |

The being in question looked like...  @ezel@ "...." The lion warrior simply looked at Ashen, before closing his eyes and vanishing. Earning a sigh from the boy. 'He's gone, phew...I really should get this checked out...' |

He knew he saw some card that blue-haired kid's got. Well...maybe after school, he'll corner him. For now, he got school he has to suffer.

And Ashen would find himself slammed onto a wall, behind the school. He would feel like a mouse when a tall spiky-haired boy loomed over him, along with a brown-haired associate with curly hair. They had some sinister looks about them.
"Hey Ashy! Heard you actually have Duel Monsters."

With a bag over her shoulder, she walked past the window. Looking down, something caught her eye; Some boys ganging up on that classmate of hers. Course she doesn't know its over a cardgame, but even if it is, the situation seems the kid is being bullied. |
