 Syrus looked up at Jaden. "...yeah..."  And then Tyranno and his gang stopped by Jaden. "That was one hell of a match, right? Big bro was on fire out there!" "Yeah! You saw how he just utterly trounced big bro, right?" "That was so freaking cool!" "It was a blast!" He couldn't help but blink at how the gang, even the guy who just lost to Jaden, were so excited over their loss. |

"Huh? Why's the kidsaurus gotta go home?" Tyranno remarked as he placed his hands behind his head. Syrus just glanced past the group to see the duel between Alexis and Bastion underway; he didn't really feel like he'd contribute much else to this scene at the moment. |

"Here's the first test results," a suited man said, giving Kaiba some notes to look at.  "Hmm..." Looking over it, there wasn't much that explained how the Duel Monsters can talk. Also...something was strange...that boy Yugi played against, a couple days ago, as well as Jesse Anderson, didn't use D-Gazers, and yet they played the game just fine. It was like they can see the monsters... ...matter of fact, Kaiba can, too. But he brushed it off, thinking it was some kind of side-effect on most people, like himself. His men talked to the audience, and they seemed just fine. They needed D-Gazers to see the duel. "Make sure you check the system thoroughly, this time. The last thing we need is lawsuits, because some wimp kid got a headache from the D-Gazers." "Yes sir." and he stepped down the stairs of the bleachers. He wasn't sure how he, or those kids, could see without D-Gazers, but Kaiba planned on going to his doctor to see if he didn't catch anything. But until then... "Alright, that was a nice warm-up, but let's move on as quick as we can. Time doesn't wait for anyone to take a potty break, so let's go to the next round!"And the audience cheered. "Jaden Yuki vs. Chazz Princeton, to field left. Jesse Anderson vs. Alexis Rhodes, to side right. now!" "Rats..." And she didn't get to speak to Zane and the others. Oh well, to be honest...she was glad she can duel again, soon. The excitement...the fun....  It felt good. Her eyes returned to normal as she walked back to the field. |

Yugi, however, seemed pretty concerned by the way that Alexis so brutally finished that duel. At this rate... ...hm. Seems like Princeton's going to summon the 5-Headed Dragon.What?! Yugi's eyes widened as he looked back at the other fight. It's not coming out yet... but Jaden will be in trouble if he doesn't finish the battle quickly. |
