 Syrus just looked at her. Good effort, but what she was dealing with was someone who was just utterly broken; self-esteem and all. It'd take a bit more than that to get him going again. |

The speeches didn't exactly help on Syrus, as he just closed his eyes. Why did he want to become a duelist? He couldn't even recall. Was it to try and aspire to be as strong as his brother? To just enjoy the game? Or to simply be acknowledged as a real duelist by his brother? Either way, only silence came from him, as he just didn't know what to do. |

Syrus blinked. "...Jaden..." That was right; he was going to duel as well... but he wasn't even sure if he could cheer him on in this kind of state... ...well... he could at least watch. Slowly, he turned his head towards the field Jaden was on. |
