However, Yusei would find that the shockwave that usually emits from their bikes did not happen. Instead...
A-Reality Duel mode, activate A computer in each of their helmets announced. A horizontal laser scrolled across their visors.

And suddenly, what they would all see were Duel Monsters...lost of Duel Monsters around, interacting with the environment like they always lived there. They would see monstrous birds and dragons casually flying in the sky, zombie-like creatures hanging near stores and cafes...
...and even a cartoony car zipping beside Yusei... "Meep meep!!" before blasting off through the road in cartoonish speed.
But somethings have not changed. Automatic alarms roared, announcing a Riding-Duel has commenced. Roads lifted and shifted, changing course for the riders to move to the Duel highways.

Discard Counter: Activate only when your opponent Synchro Summons a monster. Negate the Summon of that monster and return it back to the Extra Deck and Special Summon the monsters used in the Synchro Summon to your opponent's side of the field in Defense Position. Your opponent cannot Summon any monsters until the End Phase of their next turn.

I came out of tougher situations... and this is no different... He thought to himself, glancing over his shoulder. If he thinks he can win in his next two turns, he can think again!He glanced at his Duel Screen as the X Mark with a number 3 turns into a 2 the moment he ended his turn. Once my turn is over, I can start summoning monsters and Synchro Summons... all I need to do is survive...
