"If its face up and straight, that means its free to attack, but if its side-ways, that mean the monster is defending!"

"Like I said, this is a new deck I would like to try out..." She admitted. "It's more of a Spellcaster/Spell Counter deck..."

She pointed at the hero. "Crusader, attack!"

"Melody, if that card you just placed down is any useful, now is the time to use it!"


"Uh... I use Athena Strike!" She declared quickly, activating the card, which stopped the Crusader dead in his tracks. "Um..." Takes a moment to read the card, "It allows me to negate one attacking coming for me, and special summoned my Fancy Hero Athena." Suddenly Melody's deck glowed as a new beam of light rose on the field, and a new girl stood by Lydia.

The Crusader of Endymion grunted as the blade just hit a barrier before leaping back down...



"I'll set two cards face down and call off my turn..." She said, slotting in two cards...

"Nyeh... that's a level 5 monster, 5 and above you have to sacrifice a monster depending on those stars for them to play."


"Sacrifice? Ew Well... i know what the stars are for." She shrugs, "Alright, I play Fancy Hero Kyria in the up position!"


"You mean attack mode?"


"Yeah, that!" She nodded, as a gothic lolita little girl appeared on the field.




As she read her cards, "Um... it says here if I control another Fancy Hero other than Fancy hero Athena, I can have her attack my opponent directly... whatever that means. So, go Athena!"

Holding her sword, it glowed as wind swirled around as she went to slash Tea directly!

"Uh?" Melody was confused, before she saw the void open up, and Athena flying at her, "EEP!"

"OK... so, for every Magic card we play, this monster gains a Spell Counter... and it can only carry 3. Once all 3 are set, I can remove them and draw a new card..."

The side of her Duel Disk opens up. "Next, I play the Magic Field, Magical Citadel of Endymion."





"There we go..." She smiled, glancing around the area with how grand and mystical they are now in...

"So, while my Field Magic and Library gains a Spell Counter, I can add another Spell Power Grasp from my deck to my hand..." She said as she took a card. "According to it's effect, I can only play one of these during my turn..."

"Both of these cards gain another Spell Counter if either one of us plays a Magic card so..." She smiled as all three Spell Counters vanished from her Library monster. "I can now draw one card."

She coughed. "All right... I'll enter my Battle Phase now. I'll have my Crusader attack your Fancy Hero Athena!"

"Uh?" Melody looks at the card going to the graveyard, how Kyria had the ability to redirect an attack heading for another Fancy Hero to her provided there are three Fancy Heroes on the board. "Oh..."

"And her other ability increased her attack points by 500." Sure, it was still 1800 vs Tea's 1900, but it still softened the blow.

"Um.. I play Fantastic Stage of Dusk and Dawn!" When Melody played that card, the magical city of Endymion vanished as a land in between night and day replaced it. "Uh? What happened?"


"You played a field spell card that replaces Tea's Magical Citadel!"


"Oops, sorry Tea." She blushed, looking at her cards, her eyes lit up as she saw one she knows well, having seen it mention on another card. "Oh, I now play Aurelus Change!"




"Remember when I said these cards remind me of shows when I watched as a kid? Well watch this... Fancy Hero Athena!"

In Fancy Hero Athena's hands, a brooch appeared which she kissed. From there, her body glowed as she almost looked naked while she danced. Feathers swirled around, forming new clothes until she stopped, posing in her new form.




"Fancy Hero Aviona!" Melody giggled, "I had always wanted to do that! Oh, and I also play Fancy Hero Statica!" Right by the two Fancy Heroes, a new appeared, this one wearing an electrical suit.
