Leaping beside the little man, Duke Devlin chuckled, slapping Yugi's back. "Hahahaha!"

Stumbling forward from that, Yugi couldn't help but chuckle along with Duke. "Been a while, hasn't it, Duke?"

"Well, you know how it is." Tristan chuckled. "We all gotta pay our respects to the Godfather of Games, after all." he remarked in an sarcastic tone.

[Alien-Child]

"You guys talking about me?"


Suddenly Tristan would find himself in a headlock, at the sametime a noggie. "There's a reason I got that title, and you know it!"

"Your a Godfather, all right..." She said dryly. "Tristan, what is Joey's score over Yugi again? Yugi's was.... 50, right?"

"Yeah," Chuckling, he slapped his back again. "But dude! I mean...that crazy Chinese chick, yeah, but I didn't know you had it in you with the ladies."

Yugi instantly blushed again, as he looked away with an awkward smile. "...I guess I didn't know, either..." he mused, before he quickly shook his head. "More importantly, though, she told me that I could be an guest of honor at a Duel Monsters tournament her school's hosting!"

"Geh- too many wins to count!" Tristan called, trying to get out of Joey's grip. "In Yugi's favor, that is!"

[Alien-Child]

"Heh," Letting go of Tristan, he made a confident smile, "Well Yugi is good, but eventually I'm going to win over so many duels, you can't even count how many 0's are in the number!"

"Yes we can... it's minus 100..."

"Oh that's cool," Blinking his wide eyes, then... "Hey wait! Her school has Duel Monster tournaments?! How come ours don't!?"

"I think it's a private school." Yugi noted. "Apparently, this popular duelist is going to be there as well; I think he's called Aster Phoenix..."

"Aw, that's not fair, Téa." Tristan said, as he rubbed his neck. "Joey's won, like... 10 times."

"Oh I heard of him. He's like the new prodigy kid." he nodded.

"Minus 100 0's? How is that-" Shaking his head, he barked at the two, "HEY!"

"Sharp, isn't he?" She smirked.

"...guess so." Yugi hummed. "Anyway, I was thinking of seeing if Joey, Tristan and Téa would want to come along to see that tournament. What about you, Duke? Feel like coming?"

"Eh, why not." he shrugged, walking off.

"Laugh now, but comes the next tournament, I'm going to rub that trophy in your face!" He declared.

"Joey... if you're talking about a next tournament, do you mean this one? If so... then, what if Yugi is entering...?"

"Alright; later, Duke!" Yugi called, before he began heading off as well. ...another tournament... wonder what the others will think!

"Most likely. Which means that me and you probably only have a shot at second and third place... unless Kaiba joins, too."

Though Yugi would be seeing Duke again, for he hurled over a fence, meeting up with the trio. "Heya guys. Are we messing with Joey? Cuz I'm always up for that."

"Heh, Yugi will be a challenge, but I'll mop the floor with Kaiba this time for sure!"

"...............where do we start on that bragging comment.......?" She asked Duke and Tristan dryly.

"I can't even tell you where the end's supposed to be." Tristan remarked, rubbing the back of his head.

Scoffing, Duke hopped on a seat next to Tea. "Anyways, I just heard from Yugi that he's invited to this little DM tournament some private school is running. It's for students only, but this girl invited him as guest of honor."

[Alien-Child]

"... a school is running a tournament?" He stared puzzled before ruffling his own hair, "DANG! I'm going to graduate too early. Why didn't they have something like that with us?!"

[Ninetalesuk]

"I'm surprised you can actually graduate with grades like yours, Joey..." She said. Then, she glanced at Duke. "Those kids are going to be happy to see the Champion of Duelist Kingdom and Battle City, huh?"

"I can't imagine anything else." Tristan noted... before he snapped his fingers. "Hey! We should go there as well! Since we're friends with Yugi, maybe we'll be accepted as guests of honor, too?"

"Yeah, if we're lucky..." he shrugged.

[Alien-Child]

"Well what are we waiting for? LETS GO!" Joey ran down the street, only to come back running backwards, "Where is this school again?"


"Heh, you haven't change much?" A feminine chuckled, "I believe the school you guys are talking about is the one just outside the city."


"Oh, thanks Melody!" He nodded, running off again... only to walk backwards again, "MELODY?!"


She chuckled at his reaction, "Hi guys, long time no see!"

"....." Blinking at the unfamiliar girl who seemed to know the original trio. "Okay....first of, the tournament is this weekend. And second...you know this girl, guys?"
