Domino St. High: First Day of Dueling

@rose@ "Ooo!! Like, since you're totally here," holding out her frog cards. "Can you see my Duel Spirits now?"

"Duel what...?" he uttered, beginning to think it's another of that hocas-pocas nonsense.

@rose@ "Like, hello?!" she scoffed. "Spirits of Duel Monsters?!"

"Aren't you too old to believe in such fairy-tales?" he scoffed as well. Then again...he still sees that ghostly Winged Kuriboh right on Jaden...meaning her assum-NO! Just hallucinations caused by gas fumes, or something... "Where you believed in something like that?"

@rose@ Pouting, she stomped her foot on the ground. "They're real! I saw them when I was, like, a little diva! Besides, this creepy blue-haired guy called them Duel Spirits."


(Yugi can also see Winged Kuriboh, you know.)

".......I think they've let her loose from a nut house......." He admits, looking at her with a deadpanned look.

"Duel...spirits?" He looked at Winged Kuriboh. "So, that's what you are?" He seemed a little laid back about it.

He nodded, looking happy.

"Oh..AH!" He took out his Winged Kuriboh card. "So you're my Winged Kuriboh. Wow!" He laughed. "This is so cool!" Of course, since not EVERYONE can see him, half of the class might see Jaden as a crazy person for seemingly talking to himself.

"....look what she did!" He said, pointing at Jaden. "She's infected that poor sap too!!"

Right about then, Crowler was snapped back into reality. "Geh- would you take your seats! Give the two of them some space!"



"Gah!" Quickly, Syrus ran to his seat, not wanting to provoke Crowler further.



Though when Yugi began talking about seeing Winged Kuriboh, Yugi happened to glance towards him, when he could spot the flying furball. ...huh...



...guess she wasn't just rambling, after all...



...guess so...

"Uh....huh...." she rather not pay attention to Jaden's....odd conversation with his imaginary friend.

"Actually, Crowler, I believe it's time for everyone to head on home."

@rose@ Razzing Kaiba, Rose then walked off.

"He's so uncaring!" she cooed, eying Kaiba as she walked out. "That makes him cool!"

"Hm, well I'll be looking forward to working with ya, buddy." He smiled and nodded.

With a happy squeek and flip, he disappeared into his card.

He put the card away and looked over. "Oh, time to go?"

"To a white padded room in a white coat with her..." He said, putting his deck away and picking up his bag.

"...huh." Crowler blinked. "...guess I must've lost track of the time... oh, well, you heard Sheppard; you may leave, now."



"...right..." Taking his bag, Syrus prepared to leave.



Yugi, on the other hand, just blinked as Rose and Missy left.

While Kaiba growled, looking away from Jaden as he rubbed his eyes. Still an hallucination. Just because that kid is talking to what I'm seeing doesn't mean...

"Mr. Kaiba? Shall we continue our business els-"

"Yes," he gritted, quickly.


After putting away her decks, Alexis walked off her seat, approaching Syrus. "Hey, sorry about our duel. I was wondering if you were Zane's brother, is all."

"...right..." Syrus nodded, though he didn't look back at Alexis.

He came up. "Well, see you guys tomarow." He smiled at Syrus and Alexis. "Can't wait for the weekend tournement!"

"Yeah..." she was torn now. Wither to quit while she could, before she gives into her habit of card games....or satisfy her envy tendencies, which was created when Jaden made friends with THE Yugi Muto. She saw him as a target and rival.

"...right... can't wait, either." Syrus nodded, glancing up at Jaden.

He turned and left the classroom, heading back home to start his planning... and maybe work on his deck. This tournament... this has been an interesting first day...

He nodded, smiling again. "Well, I'm gonna get home. See you guys later!" He looked at Yugi. "Yugi, be seein' ya! Thanks for the duel and Winged Kuriboh."

Yugi simply smiled. "You're welcome, Jaden." he said with a nod.

While all was being finished in the classroom, Alexis was already walking down the quiet school-hall.

"Your in a rush, Alexis..." Came a familiar voice.



He was leaning against the wall, arms crossed, smiling. "Hey."

With that, he ran out.

While the Wingled Furball waved at Yugi, looking pleased. Following behind.

While she stopped, she didn't even face him. "For your information, I was NOT looking for that kid. I needed to use the bathroom."

"So, I was wrong? That makes a change..." He smirked.

[AnT]

"Hmph..." Still, she stared at the hallway, in thought about everything. "This school made it so hard for me to quit. It's practically in love with the game so much, it might as well be a Duel Monsters school."

[Ninetalesuk]

"A Duel Monster school..." He chuckled. "That will be the day... I have to say, though, I was surprised to see you in the club... I guess you couldn't resist it..."

[AnT]

"So was I...and after what happened today, I might be coming back a few times." she sighed. Seeing Yugi and Kaiba, and knowing there's a tournament...no way she can resist.

"Remind me... why did you want to quit Duel Monsters in the first place?" He asked.

[AnT]

"Um," As if it was obvious, she though, "So I can consentrate on my schoolwork. If I play Duel Monsters, I won't get enough of them. You know how crazy I was when my brother introduce me to the game."

[Ninetalesuk]

"The game was made for fun... though, I can understand your reasons to quit that game..." He said with a nod. "Speaking of your brother, how is he doing? I haven't seen him for a while..."

[AnT]

"On some road trip....but he said he was coming back today." Sighing, it was obvious that didn't happen. That man never did well in school; absent on the first day of school didn't look good to the eyes of school authorities.

He sighed. "Well... I just got to wonder what he'll be focusing on when he gets back to school... his studies, Duel Monsters or... woman..."
