Domino St. High: First Day of Dueling

He looked surprised too. "Alexis went to find me? Huh..." He blinked. "Hm, is she inside?"

"You mean how ancient magicians in the Egyptian era used stone tablets as Duel Monster cards in a forbidden ritual called Shadow Games?" He asked.




"Why not you take a look?" He asked. "I'm pretty surprised that she even Dueling... she once told me she's trying to quit..."

"No, he asked about how they all came from NeverLand." she sarcastically corrected...key word: Sarcasm.

Crowler huffed, motioning for Chazz to continue.

"...guess she must've found another way to the school..."



"...well, let's go see if we can't find the club." Yugi noted, before he walked ahead of Jaden and Syrus.



"Ah- wait up!"

[kelik]

He looked over and back and Zane, nodding. "Thanks, Zane." He grinned. "And next time, expect a better match." He ran after the two. As he went down the hall though, he heard a squeeking noise. "!" He turned around, looking. "...what was...?" He then shook his head and ran after the two.

All while a little invisible creature followed behind...

Watching Jaden ran off with Yugi and Syrus, he smirked and turned away. I shall wait for that day to come, Jaden... I shall wait...




"He does, huh...?" He replied to Alexis, also sarcastic... trying to rack his brain to think up what else about this ancient Duel that Crowler is boring them with...

Wish there was something to distract him from all of this, but...

Scoffing, Alexis went back to fixing her Ice Queen deck. Though she wondered if Jaden will return. But then again, he was with the King of Games, so she doubt he'll return today.

At that point...



...Syrus entered the room, looking out of breath. "...it's... still on-going."



Scoffing, Crowler looked towards the door. "Glad to see that you decided to come back, Mr. TruesdAAAAGH!!!" he suddenly exclaimed in shock, falling out of his chair...



...for who should be standing next to Syrus, looking at Crowler curiously? "...is... he okay?"



"...doesn't look like it..."



"Tha-tha-that's..." Crowler sputtered, unable to look away from Yugi.

At that point, Jaden came in too, smiling. "Heya! Sorry to worry everyone." He then looked toward Alexis' seat.

Unknown to Jaden was the little flying furball peeking at him from the corner of the door. "...."

"Oh, good... a distraction from me..." He smirked, glancing to see what was Crowler getting all excited about...

...Chazz saw Yugi...

...Chazz was silent...

...and...



"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!" He fell out of his chair in shock too. "YUGI MUTO?!??"

"Guh?!?!" she was stunned too, nearly dropping her deck on her desk. He brought him with...?!

"Ah-gah-buh-geh..." Crowler sputtered, as he slowly got on his feet.



"...um... sorry?" Yugi blinked; very sure that Crowler had fallen out of his seat because of his presence.



"...o-oh, no, don't worry about that!" Crowler laughed, springing to his feet as he clapped his hands together. "It's an honor to have a celebrity such as yourself in our Duel Club, Yugi Muto!"



Syrus could only blink.

But Jaden just ignored Crowler's reactions, going straight for Alexis. "Hey, Alexis? I heard you left the classroom too."

The great Duel King.... HERE!!! I gotta Duel him!!! No, wait... I'll loose!!! His Buster Blader against my Dragon deck?!? No way!!! He shook his head, clenching his hair. How did he...?! How did that guy...?!

[AnT]

Resting her cheek on her hand, Alexis barely looked at him, with a uncaring manner. "Yeah. Not your business what I do in the restroom."



Outside, in the halls...

"Well, I am honored that you chose our school to be first to try out your latest project, Mr. Kaiba," the man said, walking beside the said billionaire. "But you don't mind me by asking, is it safe?"

"I assure you, that my company hired the best in the world to install and check for highly sufficient safety protocols so-"

Coming down the hall, Kaiba spotted a winged furball peaking in a room. Strange that, not only was it was so transparent, he was seeing one of those wretched things.

"Mr. Kaiba?" the old man called, who didn't seem to notice the Kuriboh.

Growling, he rubbed his eyes. I defiantly should take a nap after this. I'm hallucinating winged hairballs.

"...s-so, Mr. Muto... what brings you to our club?" Crowler hummed.



"...well, Jaden and Syrus told me about it, and I figured I could come to visit." Yugi noted.



Syrus kept silent, as he just looked from Yugi to Jaden.

He didn't notice Kaiba, and just went in after Jaden.

"Hm, really? Zane told me you left because you were worried about me."

[Ninetalesuk]

Of all Duelists who had to bump into Yugi and bring him here... him?!?!? He gawked.

[AnT]

"He always assumes." she shrugged without care, looking at her deck. "It was just a coin-"

"Why, today, I'm continuously bumping into you, Yugi?" Kaiba huffed, standing by the door, impatiently.

Peaking around the tall young man, Sheppard gasped. "Oh my! Yugi Muto?! This is grand surprise." Muttering 'excuse me' to Kaiba as he carefully brushed through him, the man approached Yugi. "What brings you here?"

The boy looked over, surprised. "W.whoa, is that Seto Kaiba?" He didn't idolize him as much as Yugi (in fact he might think he's a bit of a jerk), but it was still a bit surprising to see him.

Meanwhile, the little furball saw Kaiba, jumping. "!" He squeeked and flew behind Jaden.

"...?" He looked at the Kuriboh. "Wait a minute..."

[Ninetalesuk]

"First Yugi Muto and now... Seto Kaiba?!?" He blurted out, standing up in shock. "What's going on here?!?"

"...I would like to agree with Mr. Princeton!" Crowler nodded. "Sheppard, what's going on here?!"



"...well, I just came to visit..." Yugi repeated, before he looked at Kaiba. "...but what are you doing here, Kaiba?"



Syrus, again, could only gape silently at Kaiba. First day of school, and they had met two celebrities in that day...

"Oh, well..." glancing at Kaiba, wondering if he wanted to address his plans.

Scoffing, he didn't see anything wrong with mentioning vague details. "All I can say that the surprise I have for your little school tournament will make the Duel Disks seem like a joke."

"What?!" Something that'll make the Duel Disk seem minuscule was something unlikely.

"Huh?" He looked over. "What is it?"

[Ninetalesuk]

"What do you mean?!?" He gawked, looking at his Duel Disk carefully. "What's wrong with it?!?"

All of them simply looked at Kaiba, wondering just what he had cooked up this time.

"Oh something will be wrong with it, once you see what I have in store, this weekend." he grinned, evilly.

@dimitri@ Quietly, he eyed at Yugi and Kaiba. Oh man. If I had decks like theirs...

@rose@ "Ohmigawd!!" the two girls squealed, zipping beside Yugi and Kaiba, with gushy looks.

@rose@ "Like, I was so sure I was going to see you again, this weekend. I mean like, hellooooo! Right now isn't the weekend, but who cares?"

"Oh this so totally boss!!" Grinning, with sparkles in her eyes, she held out cards to Yugi and Kaiba. "Can I have your autographs?!"

Oh please... One thing he couldn't stand were annoying fangirls.

So, not only Zane has won her heart... He frowned, but he is curious on what Kaiba has in store for the tournament this weekend...

"Hmm..." He looked aside. "This weekend, huh?" He was still concerned about Alexis, as he looked over at her.

"?" He looked too, not that she could see him.

"...eheh... sure..." Yugi's stance on fangirls was different; lack of tolerance exchanged with uncomfortable awkwardness. With a slight nod, Yugi wrote his name on the card Missy held to him.



Though thankfully (or not), Crowler was just too stunned at Yugi and Kaiba's presence that he didn't bark at Rose and Missy to get back to their seats.
