History:
In the original GX timeline, Bastion started off his school with Jaden and the others. Sadly, as time went on, he slowly became non-existant to the point where he's nearly forgotten and decided to stay behind in a Duel Monster Spirit World.

Now, the timeline has changed where he exists in the wrong time, where Yugi is, and is attending school to brush up on his maths, Dueling skills and gaining new friends.
