Personality:
At first, she comes off as the shy, quiet girl who sits by herself reading and just studying, caring for her future and well-being, barely saying a word, but as you get to know her she's almost a different person.
She can be ditzy, energetic and even determined, though she best shows this when around friends she has grew close with. she's polite and sweet, and will go into a full on 'Mama Bear' moment if you harm her friends.

Way before the card game was getting really popular, Melody was a classmate in Yugi's class, and was the sight for Tristan's affection. Inspired by Yugi's grandfather, he made a love-note/puzzle for her.
However a sadist teacher by the name of Ms. Chono did a desk check and found the puzzle, stating that dating was against school rules. She demanded who was behind it, but Melody, Tristan and Yugi all confessed. This brought up a sadistic plot by the teacher as she did the puzzle and read it out loud, embarrassing the girl.
Yugi's bitter half took over and played a shadow game with the teacher, the more humiliation she put Tristan and Melody through, the more her make up will crack. By the end, her ugly face was exposed and the teach ran out of the room.
Though Tristan didn't got his date with Melody, she did became friends with the group, for awhile till her family had to move, by the time Duel Monsters got really popular. However, she has heard of the news about her old friends, namely Yugi and Joey.
Since she;s becoming an adult, she's free to do her own actions, and her first plan is to go back to Domino City.
