History:
Gaillard's story takes place in another realm, the Vanguard realm where things were untouched. His earliest memories are of his family home being consumed by red fire, and he had become an orphan. Luckily, the orphanage became quite a home for him, and he even discovered his favorite card game there. Years later, he had dedicated his lie to supporting the same orphanage through the game he loves. However, a certain clan had invaded his world: Link Joker. It had Reversed his family and friends, and left Gaillard alone, forced to fend for himself against his brainwashed siblings. He had thought to give himself up to the will of the Void before the invasion suddenly stopped. Gaillard's siblings were free and he dropped to his knees sobbing in relief.
He had later discovered it was because of Aichi Sendou that his family had been freed. He had gained a strong respect for Aichi since that day, and even met him in person. Aichi had come to France to ask Gaillard to be a Quatre Knight, to watch over his body. Aichi had taken the will of Void into his own body to stop them, but it is slowly corrupting him. Gaillard agrees to watch over his sealed body along with three other knights, Neve, Ratie and Cera. With his powers of Bluish Flames given to him by Aichi, Gaillard watches over him constantly. Until Toshiki Kai came along to disrupt his job, and to force Aichi's awakening. The group had clashed until disaster had struck. Cera had betrayed the group and tried to force Aichi's awakening himself. Until Gaillard defeated him and kept Aichi safe from harm. But Gaillard discovered that keeping Aichi sealed is not the way if it meant he had to suffer. However, before Kai could free him, something unexpected happened. Their world overlapped with another...
In the current world, Gaillard has no memories of his time as a knight, or his battle against Kai. Though his past and relation with the orphanage remain the same. The same could be said of everyone from the other realm, except one person: Takuto Tatsunagi. While Takuto doesn't retain all of his memories, he did sense the world they're in isn't natural. So he summoned Gaillard and Leon Soryu of the Soryu clan to discover the truth behind the world. The two have been sent off to investigate.
