On the border of the lands governed by the Great Shogun Shien and Nightshroud, a certain settlement was built by the latter's forces, to spearhead the invasion of the former's territory. The fiends within this settlement were currently preparing for a lesser invasion; ironically enough, led by the cunning of a Lesser Fiend. Currently, this Lesser Fiend knelt before the one in charge of the settlement; eyes closed as he gave his report. "The forces are armed and ready; we can march on Shien's lands at any point, my liege."
As that was going on...  "...remember the groups, everyone."  "No worries; we got this under control."  "It's... a bit cramped, though." "You'll have to bear with it; one Duel Runner for the three-man groups has to be enough. Now, move out." With a nod, Crow, who had to carry Yuma and Tori on his Duel Runner, began driving towards the eastern path... ...while he prepared for Aki to head for the western path whilst carrying himself and Luna along. "...the rest of us are ready?" Kite hummed, as he looked back at Yusei, Jack, Shark and Rio. |

"Hey, don't squirm so much!" Seeing them all ride off, Kite nodded, before he glanced at the gate ahead of them. "...alright... summon the monsters." As he spoke, he held out his D-Pad.
With a small nod, the Lesser Fiend rose from the floor. "It shall be done, my liege." he spoke, before turning to head out and address the troops, in order to-! BOOOOOOOM!!!"Gah!" The sudden quake of the ground beneath them startled the fiend for just a moment, as he glared to the side. "What the-?!" "SIRS!" Suddenly, a skeletal knight ran up to the Lesser Fiend in a bit of panic. "Th-there's a problem... we're under attack!" "...by what?!" the Lesser Fiend snarled.
"...don't hold back." With that, Kite folded his arms... @neogalaxyeyes@ ...as the Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon unleashed a massive roar, whilst standing at attention with the duelists and their monsters, after having fired off a massive blast upon the gate, which signaled the start of the attack.
As Aki drove towards the west path, Leo simply glanced at Luna; worried that somehow, she'd end up in trouble... but he figured that he'd protect her as best he could.
It didn't take long for the three of them to stop by the path that Kite had directed them to, which led up into the mountain range the settlement was built within. "C'mon, we can't waste time! Yusei, Jack and the others are counting on us!" As he disembarked, he gave Yuma and Tori a brief nod. |

She puffed up her cheeks. "Quit it, Yuma! Crow's trying to drive..." ------------ @archfiend@ The red demonic dragon flew past the photon dragon, and attacked with a single punch. While an elderly merman appeared, using his trident to attack as well. "Here we go..." She stays by Shark. "Hmph, too easy..." -------------- She drove along. "Are you two ready?" -------------- "Ok!" She nodded at Crow. "Come on, Yuma!" |

"...yes, sir!" With a nod, the Lesser Fiend glared at the skeletal knight. "You heard him! Mobilize our strongest, and lead them against the attackers!" "Ah- yes, Lesser Fiend!" With a nod, the skeletal knight ran out and issued these orders. It was a magnificent force; led by several Archfiends, with a great number of lesser draconic beings, including zombie dragons and their ilk trudging against the ground, whilst the powerful fiends marched towards the gates, which suffered such heavy blows. "Listen here, men!" one of the archfiends roared. "We march in the name of Nightshroud! Our army is invincible!" Slowly, the gate opened, as the forces grew riled up. "There is nothing in this world that can stand against- AAAAAAGH!!!" That was literally the only thing he managed to say before a well-timed photon blast absolutely eradicated him; leaving the army somewhat stunned.
"...hm. They opened the gate sooner than expected." Kite hummed; feigning surprise as he closed his eyes. "...this will be amusing." @neogalaxyeyes@ With a small snarl, the gigantic dragon glared down... ...as, at that point, a massive army began marching on out of the gate; weapons readied as they glared ahead... until they saw the dragons and massive aquatic monsters awaiting them. They only waited briefly before charging.
"...ready!" Leo nodded somewhat nervously; even if he was ready for the incoming battle.
"...c'mon, then; things are starting up." As he said that, he began hurrying up the path; getting his Duel Disk ready in case they'd run into any foes.
As the battle began, with the weaker forces mobilizing around the settlement to defend it, the Lesser Fiend looked back at Trueman and Zure. "The forces are mobilizing exactly as you ordered, my liege... but even with our strongest, it seems like the enemy carries even stronger forces..." |

@zure@ "What are we dealing with?!" He growled. @trueman@ " Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, the legendary 4500 ATK-powered dragon hmm...?" He frowned. "So, they've recruited the former Numbers Hunter...?" @zure@ "4500...?! That's the same as the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!!" He uttered in horror. "What are we going to do?!" @trueman@ "I was saving them for that foolish shogun leader, but might as well..." He turned to Lesser Fiend. "Spring the Traps!! Fiendish Chain and Shadow Spell!!! Drive it to his knees!!!" |

"As you wish!" Lesser Fiend nodded, as he glared back at his subordinates. "Ready the traps! Bring down the Photon Dragon!" "Roger!" With a nod, several of the weaker forces began mobilizing to bring up a pair of cannons, which suddenly fired a large multitude of chains straight at the Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon... ...but suddenly, a massive gust made the chains spiral out of control, before they were just forced back into their cannons. "Wha- what happened?!" "They were deactivated!" "Then activate them again!" "I-I can't! They've been disarmed!" "Arm them again! We can't let them- AAAAGH![/b]" And a massive photon blast cut through the army, before they resumed their charge.
As he put aside the Photon Hurricane he had drawn, with two cards remaining in his hand at the moment, he glanced at the others. "They have traps. Be sure to keep them from springing them." @neogalaxyeyes@ With a roar, Neo-Galaxy Eyes fired off yet another blast at the army.
As Crow, Yuma and Tori got to the top of the path, they managed to overlook the settlement at the moment; in a state of panic as forces scurried about to try and reinforce the army being blown to bits by the distraction, while they kept some semblance of a defense in their camp. "...alright... we need to time this just right." He glanced back at the two of them. "You two ready for this?" |

"Of course..." He crossed his arms. "I'll focus on pressing the attack then." @archfiend@ As his red dragon roared again, firing flames out. "Oh geez...I'll handle the traps. I've got enough cards for that." She set them down. As her Abyssgaios attacked again. -------------- "As I'll ever be..." She put her hand to her chest, looking nervous. @neos@ He looked over at Tori as he appeared out of the deck. "...don't worry. You won't be alone." "R.right..." -------------- She was in position too. "Just wait for the cue...we're nearly ready." |

The Lesser Fiend nodded. ...and if push comes to shove... He hurried inside a tent of his own, where some tools awaited him. ...then, for my lords... I shall vanquish those vermin!
With a slight nod, Kite simply folded his arms; smirking a touch... @neogalaxyeyes@ ...as his Photon Dragon unleashed yet another blast upon the army; explosions scattering them from the powerful attacks of the five lone monsters.
Slowly sliding his Duel Disk on, he nodded. "...this is it..."
Trying to keep a brave look on him as he slid on his Duel Disk, he awaited the signal.
"...Lesser Fiend!" At this point, a smaller, aerial scout flew into the Lesser Fiend's tent, as he had gotten his hands on four Axes of Despair. "What is it?" With a snarl, he glanced back at the flying scout. "Um... we... might have a different situation on our hands..." "Well, out with it!" the fiend snarled. "Lord Trueman is about to prove the superiority of his tactics to those fools, and-!" "Actually... we might have some problems apart from that." the scout uttered with a nervous disposition. The Lesser Fiend's eyes narrowed. "...explain." |

"...we're gonna wait for the forces down there to grow really disoriented from the pressure..." Crow uttered, as he nodded. "...and the instant they do that, we charge down; flanking them and taking them by surprise."
As he breathed, he glanced at Luna. "...don't worry; I'll make sure to keep you safe..." he uttered with a small smile.
"...WHAT?!" Grabbing the flying scout, Lesser Fiend growled viciously. "This better be some kind of joke!!!" "N-no, Lesser Fiend, sir, i-it's completely true!" the scout uttered desperately. "When was this discovered?!" he growled. "Ah- just a few minutes ago... but the trail was cold; as if it had happened hours before!" "...did you gather any sort of clues?!" "Y-yes, actually..." the scout uttered fearfully. "It's... it'sheadedrightforthesettlement." Lesser Fiend's eyes widened immensely upon hearing that. "...what...?!" |

"A-a report from the scouts, my liege..." the Lesser Fiend spoke. "...allegedly, Excavation Site Number 1 has been destroyed... and... signs are pointing towards the beast..." At that point... a faint rumbling shook the tent.
"...what... was that?"
"...hm?" Blinking, he looked around.
His eyes narrowed somewhat, as he heard it again. "...it sounds like... footsteps." Slowly, his eyes widened, as he began glancing north. "... heavy... footsteps..." |

The Lesser Fiend gulped, before nodding. "...the beast's name is-!" And suddenly, a massive quake rattled not only the tent, but the very settlement as well. "Wha...?!"
"...what the..."
"...uh oh...!"
"...what the hell was that?!" And as he made a brief glance... his eyes widened. "...oh, hell." There, towering above the settlement, was a gigantic, fiendish monster; snarling viciously as it glared down at the beings that scurried about beneath it...  |

"...is this supposed to be a secret weapon?" Kite hummed, as he glanced at the army... and they seemed equally shocked. "...no. This must be a third party..."
"...what the...?!" Leo uttered, as he quickly looked at Luna. "Are... are you seeing this?!"
"...no kidding... this is a wicked beast..." Crow uttered. "...but... what the hell is it...?"
As for the controller of the beast... well, the army wouldn't have any luck finding it in the surrounding area...  ...as the controller was actually on the Lord of Phantasms, hiding from view. ...and here we go... With a smirk, the controller glanced upwards at Raviel's head... where someone else was standing. "...hmm... heheheh... HAHAHAHAH!!!" With a wicked cackle, the figure held his arms out. "Trueman!!! I know you're there, you spineless lackey of Nightshroud!!! Behold the splendor of this world's true ruler!!!"  "Me, myself and I!!! The Dark Ruler, Ha Des!!!" |

"Ha Des is the one who stole Raviel?!?" @trueman@ "This will not please Lord Nightshroud..." He scowled. "...but, I'll see what I can do..." He looked at Zure. "Guard Flare Scarab! If anyone tries to save him... Duel!" @zure@ He nodded. "Sir!" @trueman@ And with that... he turned into a bunch of shadow cards and vanished... ...in mid-air... facing Ha Des and Raviel... @trueman@ ...was him, expression hard to tell. "How dare you steal Raviel from Lord Nightshroud, Ha Des..." ...Raviel...? He blinked. Why does that name sound familiar...? @trueman@ "What do you want...?" He asked. |
