It was done... ...but, it was also incomplete... ...that's what Zane was thinking about as he sat at his desk in his room...  He had created a new deck to work with his Cyber Dragons and soon to be collected Cyberdark... he was ready... he has to go through with this... Not for him... but, for his brother and friends... If there was only a way to get rid of her... ...that vampire witch... He sighed, packing his deck away in a bag with his Duel Disk before getting up. It was early and he has to sneak out before anyone else notices... ...thus, he was out already... to make his way to where she wants to meet him... |

As he wandered, a thick fog filled the air, and a horde of bats flew in a specific direction. They would serve as his guide.

He growled... there's a reason why she's helping him... to make the Cyber deck to be complete... so he could work for them... Eventually, the bats ceased moving, as Zane found that he had wandered all the way into a forest of sorts. A path, illuminated by torches, lead further into the forest.

This isn't fair... she hasn't given me much of a choice... feh, my first taste of facing the Barian and I'm forced to help them...? He thought to himself, walking along the pathway. But, as long as Syrus has that Numbers card, he's in danger... and I cannot force him to give it up...He frowned. ...these Numbers.... Xyz... Barian... just what are they...? And what is she really after...?

After a while of walking, he came up to a rather massive manor, towering before him. The bats that had led him to this path circled around the building; indicating that he would have to enter the building.

Walking up to the building, he had to wonder where it all went wrong for him... ...Main everything from yesterday... Started off okay, then went downhill... How can I be even sure she's telling the truth and it's in here...? What if it's a trap...?His answer came from his pocket... glowing... Confused, he took it out...  ...the image was glowing... as if it was responding to something... He grits his teeth... 
"...what's... Cyberdark...?"
"...do you understand the term of Yin and Yang, Syrus? Good and evil?"
"...o-of course... ...so you're saying... Cyberdark is the evil variant of your Cyber cards...?"
"Yes... the Cyber Dragon archetype and it's related cards are all LIGHT-Attribute monsters... Cyberdark archetype are all DARK-Attribute monsters..."Cyber End Dragon's image glowed a bit more... And it seems they are connected.... Cyber End Dragon is LIGHT, Cyberdark Dragon is DARK... maybe somewhere in that building, Cyberdark is responding too...With a sigh, he pocketed his Fusion monster back and walked to the door, grabbing the handle of the front door to open it... |

And when he entered... nothing but silence greeted him as he entered the dark, cold foyer. However, the bats suddenly shot into the building after Zane; fluttering around the top of the stairs.

The bats seemed to flutter around a certain being, who stood before a rather grand pair of doors. Before Zane could see the figure, though, it entered the door, leaving the bats to follow it.

...and what met him there was like a cathedral, with a lone coffin standing at the other end of the room...  ...with a cloaked being standing by it. The bats circled around it, indicating that this was where Zane's true objective lied. |

...and as the casket opened, what was revealed to Zane was...
...ashes. Ashes strewn within the coffin. It seemed more like the original Cyberdark owner's body had been cremated...
...but amidst the ashes lied a small bag of cloth, tied up.
