Leon is a bit of a pushover. In terms of deck balance, it's not a completely reliable build since Leon has to shift tactics depending on a lot of things. Also, can easily be manipulated by his loved ones.
Personality:
Leon is a friendly sort of kid, but a little naive. He's smarter than most kids his age, but he doesn't have too many "Street smarts" if you know what I mean. So he's easy to trick most of the time. He enjoys reading, his favorite would be fairy tale books. He a lot of respect for strong, confident duelists. He idolizes Yugi a lot. Dislikes it when people call his fairy tale monsters kiddy.

History:
The von Schroeder family has been business rivals with various other families, like the Geckos and Kaibas. Their family curse is that they are always a step behind the Kaibas, and as such most of the business they take is automatically snatched away. Therefore, the family decided to take a different approach, to breed one of their newborns to be a true heir. As such, poor Leon was left in the shadows while his brother Zigfried was groomed to be a proper heir. Leon buried himself in fairy tale books ever since. When the Schroeders were invited to a party planned by Pegasus, he met the man when he was lost. He started talking to Pegasus about fairy tales, which inspired him to make the fairy tale set. Leon was the first to receive the whole set as a gift.
Deciding to duel with that deck, he made a fake name and went into pro dueling. But his first victory caught the attention of his older brother Zigfried. He was worried he might tell their parents, but Zigfried decided to keep it a secret. But, only to use his brother for his schemes. Leon entered in the Kaiba Land Grand Championship to help his brother. Though this also gave him a chance to meet his idol, Yugi Moto. He managed to duel his way into the finals, where his brother forced him to duel with an illegal card. Leon was torn between facing his idol, and keeping his brother happy. But after some words from Yugi, Leon decided to help him destroy the card before it infected Kaiba Corp's systems. After he lost the duel, he said sorry to Yugi. He wanted nothing but a fair fight with his idol, but Yugi told him he did fight with honor. After all that, Zigfried had a mental breakdown, and it took his brother's thoughtful words to bring him out of it. The two left to rebuild Schroeder Corp.
After the grand championship, life was very hard on the von Schroeders. Their parents passed away, and their company stocks are at an all time low. Zigfried is trying his best, but they are dangerously close to being bankrupt. That's when Leon struck a deal with Pegasus. He gave away his Fairy Tale set for research and development on other sets, and in exchange he would play test a new deck in the upcoming world tournament. If he went far with that deck, he could pull Schroeder Corp from bankruptcy. All he needed was practice and a team...
