History:
A few years back, while Dragan was exploring various parts of Norway along with his father, they discovered a path not too far from the Nidaros Cathedral that led to an ancient cave, which actually housed "Thor, Lord of the Aesir". The moment Dragan grabbed the card, however, the cave collapsed in on itself, and his father was gravely injured as a result of this. When leaving the hospital, Lazar, on behalf of Rex Goodwin, approached him with the opportunity to duel Jack Atlas for the title of Duel King; allowing him to gain money to pay for his father's hospital bills.
However, he would only receive the money if he lost on purpose and made it look like Jack defeated him easily, as a publicity stunt during Jack's tourney through Scandinavia at that time. During this duel, Dragan nearly played Nordic Relic Brisingamen, which could have won him the duel and title of Duel King, but out of concern for his father, he allowed himself to suffer defeat. His pride wounded, he vowed to face Jack in an honorable match some time in the future.
Some time later, Dragan was caught in an avalanche while mountain climbing, but the activation of his Rune Eye saved him from certain death. Following this, he was approached by Halldor, who encouraged him to use "Thor, Lord of the Aesir" and join him. Dragan accepted and, together with Broder, the three of them formed Team Ragnarok.
