Her eyes widened somewhat upon hearing that.

As he spoke, he actually took a step forward; though he winced as he glared at the sneering figure before them due to Gatling Ogre's first assault. "...you don't deserve... to call yourself a Duelist... you're nothing but a lowlife snake!"

Just the way Kalin spoke... it actually made her fearful. "...kkh... you've lost!" she hissed. "...Lawton! J-just have them shoot him! Kill him, now!!!"

The men aimed their weapons at Kalin...but hesitated when they saw the creature.

They fired at the ground before Kalin, trying to make him back away.

@kalin@ However, the shot didn't halt Kalin's charge... in fact, it only seemed to provoke him. "...the lives that were lost in the mountains... all because of the law of this town... and now you think you can make things worse..." He was now stomping towards Lawton; seething with a fury never seen on the Shinigami before this very moment. "...no more... even if I'm killed here... I'm not letting you control this town... or its people... any longer!" Somehow, even though Kalin didn't seem aware of it... as he approached Lawton with dangerous steps, the Hundred Eyes Dragon suddenly roared, as the town's ruler would actually see the killing intent Kalin carried... towering behind him as a wicked aura of sorts...  @barbara@ Even she could see that aura, and she clasped her hands before her mouth in terror. "...he's... he's not human...!" she uttered, as she fell. "...h-he's really... a God of Death...!!!" |

His eyes swiftly narrowed... and he suddenly spun around; running in the opposite direction. "...Greiger! Leave the rest to me!" The moment he said that, he got on his Duel Runner, and swiftly revved it up; driving right after Lawton...

...with the aura surrounding him also chasing after Lawton; almost as a symbol of Kalin's hatred and fury.

Sirens filled the air, as security vehicles swarmed the town.

...and lo and behold, there stood another Infernity Des Gunman; seethrough, like a ghost.

I chain the effect of a different monster." And suddenly, Kalin drew a card out from the graveyard.  @kalin@ "...during either duelist's turn... I may set this on top of my deck, if I have no cards in my hand." As he spoke, he slowly, almost torturously placed that card on his deck. @ccapacapu@ And the aura shone with a dark glow; rumbling lowly as if Lawton's fate was sealed... ...all while Infernity Des Gunman eventually tossed the revolver into the air. |

@lawton@ And Lawton stood there, stunned. Even though the effect was holographic (assuming it's not powered by the Immortal), it still had a major impact on Lawton. His eyes were dark, and he looked drained. Lawton had lost.

@lawton@ "...god of...death...you..." He stepped forward, but fell to the ground with a thud as his images faded.

At that point, fatigue caught up to him, and Kalin promptly collapsed on the field as well; a small smile actually crossing his lips.

Just a moment after the duel had ended, several trucks flew down the road toward Kalin and Lawton, and a few figures ran out toward them...

Later, if Kalin would wake up, he would find himself in a bed in a room in Crash Town.
@west@ @nico@ And two children were by the bedside, worried for Kalin.
@misty@ A woman watched the three from the door, still a bit stunned at what she heard. "An Earthbound...Immortal..."
