Adrian has a tendency to grow full of himself, overconfident and arrogant as a result of his abilities (though not to the extent of certain other rich arrogant people *COUGHKAIBACOUGH*). He also doesn't see the point of any sort of bonds, as he merely uses them to attain his own goals.

Somewhat philosophical in his methods, Adrian is a figure that keeps to himself; playing his hand close to his chest in a matter of speaking. To him, people around him serve as little more than a means to an end for himself and his ultimate goals; which, as stated, is something he keeps far to himself.

The eldest, adopted son of the prestigious Gecko Family (a serious business rival of the Kaiba Corporation), Adrian was once meant to be the heir of the family, since his parents hadn't conceived a child, and he had been adopted by them... but then, they actually had a child, which prompted a furious string of jealousy from Adrian, who even considered killing his brother. However, he made sure to keep it to himself, and work diligently for his brother's sake; even though his own ambitions have kept him going throughout the years.
Lately, he was admitted into a recently opened school, the Hikari School, as a means of not only spreading the influence of the Gecko Family, but also to conduct his own research into means of attaining power. Keeping himself from the real teachings of Sartorius, he's recently returned from a vacation taken in Egypt... where he got his hands on some curious cards...
