Name:
James "Jim" Crocodile Cook
Age:
18
Gender:
male
Residence:
Domino City/Hikari School
Deck:
Fossil/Alligator deck
Weaknesses:
He's the go-with-the-flow kind of guy, always taking things less seriously. He is somewhat lazy, in short. He can be fallen to his knees if anyone manage to take Sherley as hostage, against him. Also, he still is getting used to see with one eye.
Personality:
A eased-back kind of a guy, mostly lazy. But his geologist instincts can rise up when trouble arises. He still has the geologist drive in him, despite being in temporary retirement, so it comes when the moment calls for it. He has such love for his pet crocodile, and acts like his baby was gone if anything happens to her.
Likes:
Sherly, crocs and alligators, the Outback, laying back
Dislikes:
Naggers, being forced to work
Appearance:
History:
Jim is an expert geologist and paleontologist, having taken part in an excavation of a Tyrannosaurus in the past and has a crocodile named Shirley, initially believed to be a fake by Vellian Crowler and Jean-Louis Bonaparte, who he carries around in a specially made backpack wherever he goes. Jim regards Shirley as "family" and does not consider her to be a pet. He places great trust into Shirley and often uses her as a judge of good character, which started his friendship with Jaden Yuki. Jim wields a Duel Disk in the shape of a boomerang.
After saving Shirley from an animal trap, Jim injures his right eye. After regaining consciousness, he is imbued with the Eye of Orichalcum by a man who was touched by Jim's devotion to Shirley. The man who gave it to Jim told him it was supposed to have incredible powers when in the presence of a special comet. Afterward Jim kept his right eye bandaged.
However, the foundation, he used to work for, told him to retire for a while until he can adjust to his new eye...much to his chagrin. But coincidentally, he met up with Sartorius, who offered him to join his school. But thanks to his eye, he was able to see his dark intensions. But not even his eye could save him from his defeat in a duel. Satorius brain-washed him to be his elites for the school.
