Due to a rather... troubled existence... Yubel has a very warped sense of what the meaning of a 'bond' is; believing that love is simply sharing feelings between two people, regardless if they be positive or negative. In addition, she tends to dismiss anything that is presented to her as immaterial or useless if it doesn't directly relate to her ultimate goal.
Personality:
Ammoral and calculating, Yubel is a tough personality to actually decipher properly. She's a bit of an emotional sadist; though she doesn't usually actively seek out victims if they don't coorelate to her plans, she does enjoy seeing her victims squirm in all manners of agony; actually taking delight out of it. In spite of her negative traits, she's incredibly loyal to the one being who swore himself to being with her...
Yubel also possesses a few powers that are noteworthy. Conjuring energy blasts is but child's play to her, and she is somehow able to reflect attacks directly at the attacker. She can also hide herself from anyone but actual Duel Spirits, and, by perceiving the darkness in people's hearts, entice them into doing her bidding by appealing to it. In addition, if she is wounded, she has more than one form to fall back on...

History:
Long, long ago, there was a kingdom said to exist between the human world and the Spirit World. There, two people lived; a young boy, and a young girl, named Yubel. One day, Yubel was informed that the boy happened to possess a gift known as The Gentle Darkness, and until maturing into adulthood, would need a guardian to protect him. Volunteering, Yubel was subsequently transformed and reborn as a hellish monster, best described as a dragon. In spite of this, the boy declared that, no matter how hideous she appeared, he would always be by her side.
Sadly, this did not come to pass. Yubel was sealed away for an age after the untimely death of the boy, who had become known as The Supreme King in the passing years. She soon broke free, only to find herself all alone, with her master, The Supreme King, nowhere to be found. However, she refused to let it lie; just as she had been reborn into this hellish being, so would The Gentle Darkness have been reborn into a new body... and as she couldn't find it anywhere in the Spirit World, it had to be on the other side... a place she couldn't freely leave.
Thus, she began plotting; creating a means of merging any being together regardless of what they appeared to be, and devising a means of utilizing this power to create a way to escape the Spirit World... and a certain legend, revolving around a triad of beasts said to possess power paramount to gods, enticed her further. One problem with this, though, was a warlord that had risen during her period of slumber... Nightshroud. He would prove an obstacle she would have to tackle, while she prepared for the moment she had been created for...
...to be reunited with The Supreme King.

Yeah, we're not doing the 'Yubel was sent to space' thing this time around. Having her just be in the Spirit World from the word 'go' sounds better than having her card be shot up into space. XD
