History:
Born in a village said to be somewhere in South America, Grieger and many children lived in a poor location. He learned how to read and everything from Duel Monsters, as well as learning valuable history on the Crimson Dragon.
However, one day, an explosion occured at the village and Griger found everyone missing, including the children and his siblings. He believed it was Ylistar, a mysterious orginization who were trying to summon the Crimson Dragon through destructive means... and his village was part of it.
Pretending to help Rex Goodwin, a high profile member of Ylistar, to gain information... he entered the Fortune Cup to reach the finals and reveal to everyone on Goodwin's true colours. However, he was defeated by Yusei Fudo, a Signer who distrusts Goodwin and is there to save his friends. Although Grieger revealed to the people about Goodwin, he ruined it by consumed by hated and trying to ram his bike at Goodwin where Yusei stopped him.
Greiger was arrested, telling Yusei to continue his mission... before being taken by the Dark Signers, killed and revived as one of them... where he Dueled Crow and used his new Earthbound Immortal Chacu Challhua... where he learned the truth on what really happened to his village... the Dark Signers were the cause of it's destruction and everyone from his village were being held captive in Chacu Challhua. Thus, he allowed Crow to win... despite problems happened after that. When the Duel ended, he apologized to Yusei and Crow before he died.
After the final Dark Signer was defeated, Greiger was allowed to be given a second chance in life...
What he shall do now is a mystery...
