 "...Number..."  ...what's a Number card? Yugi seemed clueless. It sounds... really new....something's amiss. Yami's eyes narrowed, as he pulled forth his Duel Disk. ...but we can't allow them to run free. "Let us begin, then!"  Tristan narrowed his eyes a bit. ...that guy doesn't look normal... is it something about that Number card he's talking about? |

"Yea. But before we get with that..." The dark energy flared, releasing a dark shockwave. It didn't affect Yugi, but his friends froze in time.

He glanced behind him in fright. Guys!...seems like this Number allows him to freeze time around people... Yami thought; sort of attempting to calm Yugi down. ...we would be wise not to lose; the same mght happen to us otherwise....no, we have to win! That has to be how we get them back to normal!Naturally. Narrowing his eyes, he readied his Duel Disk. "Get ready!" |

Pulling out a gauntlet, he slid it on his arm, which shot out a dueling disk. He then drew out some cards. [dice=5][dice=5][dice=5][dice=5][dice=5][dice=5] "I summon Justice of Prophecy!" Slapping the card down, this person arose from spiral of stars.  "I also activate Spellbook of Secrets." he announced, sliding the card in the disk slot.  Grabbing a card from his deck, he then slid another card, but face-down. "But before I end my turn, I use Justice's ability by banishing it from the game." As said, the wizard faded away. "That allows me to get a spellcaster and spellbook from my deck." "I can special summon a level 4 or lower spellcaster, and I choose my Fool of Prophecy!!"  "His effect allows me to send a spellbook card from my deck to the graveyard." Doing so, he took out a card from his deck and tossed it into a slot, under his gauntlet. "Next, I use the spellbook card, Spellbook of Wisdom!"  "I choose for the Fool to be unaffected by trap cards. Now I can use my Spellbook of Fate. Since I have 3 spellbook cards in my grave, I can banish that face-down monster you have there." However, his expression remained stoic. "Even if your Fool of Prophecy is immune to trap cards, that does not mean that I can't activate them!" Immediately, one of his cards flipped open...  "Stronghold the Moving Fortress! He is summoned to my field as an Effect Monster, in Defense Mode!" Immediately, the towering golem stood in Fool's path; arms crossed as he denied him passage. |

He's one to talk...With a hum, he drew. [dice=5] Seeing that very card, he couldn't help but hum. ...this will turn the tide. With that, he glanced at Stronghold. "I will Tribute Stronghold the Moving Fortress to summon Dark Magician Girl from my hand!" As the giant golem vanished, a different monster took to the field...  ...playfully winking as she stood before Yugi, whilst looking at her opposition. "And now, I activate the Spell Card Sage's Stone!" As a gem appeared behind the Dark Magician Girl, sparks began emitting from it. "This will allow me to Special Summon Dark Magician to the field, from my deck!" As the gem shattered, an aura of dark energy exploded around the field...  ...and by the female sorcerer, Yugi's trademark monster stood; arms folded as he glared at the two Prophecy monsters.[rand=98998959933476169372307244223589014581738739890168280630614576852]

[dice=5] Drawing a card, he grinned at it. "Check this out. I use my Fool's ability to send a spellbook to the grave, again. Next, since I have 5 books in my grave, and he used his first effect, last turn, I can use his other effect to send him to the grave, so I can special summon a level 5 or higher spellcaster from my deck." Stars surrounded the Fool and whisked him away. Replacing him was a dark being that let loose a shockwave of darkness from his entrance.  "And then I use Ancient Rules to summon...my own Dark Magician!" Slapping said card down... A copy of Yugi's trademark monster appeared...but on the other side. Granted, this happened before, but still...  "Now, ya weird-haired punk... by the way, what is WRONG with your hair?" Clearing his throat, "Notice the similarities of these two. BGM: Yugioh ZEXAL:Number Monster Summon OSTA dark vortex opened in the middle of the floor, drawing the two spellcasters, of the robber, into it, as bolts of energy. Grinning, he raised fist bore the glowing number 93 once again. "I opened the Overlay Network to Xyz summon Number 93: Chrono Mage Girl!!" Crystal spikes shot out of the vortex, displaying the neon-style number: 93. The spike drew down into a staff, that was rising out, held by a dazzling young woman, almost like an older Dark Magician Girl.  |

...what in the world...?Yami's eyes narrowed. "...Overlay Network...? Xyz Summon?" Something didn't sit right with this; there was no way that Pegasus, or anyone at Industrial Illusions, could have come up with this new kind of monster card, especially when Fusion Monsters seemed to be the most hyped thing right now... ...so why did this... unfamiliar summon... somehow ring a bell? "Hmm...!" Eyes narrowed, she clenched her staff as she glared at this Chrono Mage. Dark Magician, however, merely looked at her.

"Oh, you like that, huh, spiky nerd? Well check this!"
The two stars that orbited around her shot right into her staff. Whirling it, the mage raised it high...
"By using both overlays, I can freeze your Dark Magician!!"
And she shot a bolt right at said spellcaster. His color became black and white, as he froze.

And there he stood; frozen completely solid. She let out a gasp of terror as she looked at the Dark Magician, frozen in time. ...oh, no! Does this mean we can't use him?!His eyes narrowed as he glared at his opponent. |

Yelping, she crossed her arms whilst dreading the incoming blast... "...I activate my trap card! Draining Shield!" In that instant, a massive barrier formed before Dark Magician Girl; causing the magic blast to explode upon impact, before siphoning over to Yugi. "This negates your attack, and earns me life points equal to your Chrono Mage Girl's ATK!" LP: 6500 A relieved sigh passed from her lips as she was so narrowly saved. |

As flames suddenly erupted around the card, Yugi took one of his cards in the hand and sent it to the Graveyard. "By Tributing Valkyrion the Magna Warrior from my hand, I am allowed to Ritual Summon the Black Luster Soldier!" As the flames suddenly caused a gateway to appear, a warrior clad in black or blue armor slowly emerged... "I don't think so!!" the robber cried, when DMG could attack.  For when the dust cleared, the mage still stood, though scratched, and her gown slightly ripped. "...what?!" With a yelp, she ceased her attack, as the battle situation seemed to have been reversed. "HA!! I almost forgot!! Number cards can only be destroyed by Number cards." Grinning, wickedly, she crossed her arms, looking down at the young wizard. With a gulp, she floated back to Yugi's side; giving Black Luster Soldier an apologetic look. "...tsch... a wicked ability..." I'll say... we have to find a different way to get rid of her... |
