His deck relies heavily on the Blue-Eyes. Though he has the XYZ Dragon Cannon as backup, as well as other dragon cards, his deck can be crippled if his Blue-Eyes are taken away.
As for Seto, his pride is so high, it'll be as thick as steel. He's easy to set off, if you know how to push his ego. Taking the Blue-Eyes cards from him, or owning one yourself can defiantly press his berserk button.
Also, the only person he cares deeply for his his young brother, Mokuba. He's be at your mercy if you threaten him with Mokuba.
Another thing is magic. Kaiba doesn't like things he cannot control. Magic scarred him during Duelist Kingdom. He believed it, but now, he's too scared of it, he convinces everyone, and himself, that it's not real in order for him to endure it.
Personality:
He has one huge ego; stomping over everyone he feels beneath him, except for Mokuba, the only person he shown compassion for. He is also shown, deep down beneath his stony, ice-cold exterior, to be incredibly lonely, and wishes to be more open with people, but is unable to do so because of his belief that everyone is alone.
Back in the day, he was near evil, as when he first met Yugi, to the point of attempting to kill him. But Yugi shattered his evil soul, leaving him as just a jerk, with being capable of being good.

At a young age, Seto and his younger brother Mokuba's parents both died. Their relatives took everything from their will and sent Seto and Mokuba to the orphanage. Seto had to toughen up to protect his brother from bullies. But finally, a man named Gozaburo Kaiba, head of KaibaCorp, arrived at the orphanage to perform a publicity stunt. Seto, who was 10 at the time (12 in the English version), saw the chance to challenge him to a game of chess, with the stakes being that Gozaburo was to adopt Seto and Mokuba together, should Seto win. Seto won since he had already studied Gozaburo's chess methods. Gozaburo then adopted both brothers.
But Gozaburo planned to only use his body as a shell for his son, Noah, who had been injured, and his mind was kept in a computer. But because Seto proved to be more capable to run the company than Noah, Gozaburo abandoned that idea, and trained Seto without mercy. Though Seto wished, if he run KaibaCorp, he'll build an amusement park, Gozaburo refused, and trained him to be ruthless as he. On Seto's birthday, he was given 2% shares, but told that Seto had to pay him back ten-times the amount. Seto returned all the money within a single day. He did this by buying 51% shares of a small company that cares for its employees, Seto then made the president buy it back, under threat of it being shut down and leaving the employees jobless.
But it wasn't enough. Kaiba outwitted Gozaburo, taking over KaibaCorp, by making a deal with the Big Five, and making Mokuba turn against him, so Gozaburo can give him 2% shares. After his taking over, Seto shifted the weapon manufacturing business into a gaming one, and managed to create a small amusement park in Domino City, Kaiba Land. He also demonstrated holographic technology to Pegasus, creator of Duel Monsters, and formed a partnership.
But throughout his journey, Kaiba's lust for power, and to bury the past, corrupted him. He strived to be the best at everything, even becoming Duel Monsters champion, which he did. He even owned three of the four rare Blue-Eyes White Dragons, just as he wanted as a child. But, only wanting that power for himself, he searched for the forth.
That's where Yugi came in, as he heard his grandfather owned the fourth.
he hired top gamer groups, called the Four Game Masters, in order to defeat Yugi and take his Blue-Eyes White Dragon. But after their defeats, Kaiba took matters into his own hands, and forced Yugi's grandfather, Solomon Mutou to duel him. As a result, Kaiba won. He punished Yugi's Grandfather with a "penalty game", creating virtual holograms of 3 "Blue-Eyes White Dragons". Solomon received too much of a shock from the holograms, and thus lost consciousness. Yugi and his friends arrived, finding his grandfather on the floor, barely conscious to give Yugi his deck. But in order to get to Kaiba, they had to get through his death game, Death-T. Yugi managed to get to the top level, but before dueling Kaiba, he had to defeat Mokuba in a game of Capsule Monster Chess. Yugi won and then started his duel with Seto Kaiba. He managed to defeat Kaiba with the five pieces of Exodia. As a Penalty Game for Kaiba, Yugi shattered his evil soul using "Mind Crush".
During his recuperation, as Kaiba left to find himself, Pegasus teamed up with the Big Five to take over KaibaCorp, and captured his brother. Kaiba chased after them to Duelist Kingdom island, only to witness Pegasus using magic to turn Mokuba into a card; reliving his horrors when Yugi Mind Crushed him. Kaiba was forced to duel Yugi again in order to face Pegasus. Kaiba had to threaten to kill himself if he didn't win. But in the end, Pegasus won, and turned Seto into a card. But after Yugi won, Kaiba and Mokuba was returned to normal, leaving Kaiba to think about what just happened.
Truly, that event, and all the magical thing that happened to him, frightening him. So, he tried to convince others, and himself, that all that magic was just mind tricks; that it wasn't real.
After the Big Five tried to kill him in his own virtual world, Ishizu Ishtar made a deal with him to help her capture the Rare Hunters, by organizing a big tournament. She sweetened the deal by giving him a God Card, Obelisk the Tormentor. Seto seek to gain all the God Cards and defeat Yugi... only (after the whole Noah incident which, as Kaiba quote: Did not happen), for him be defeated and lose his God Card to Yugi.
When real Duel Monsters appeared in the real world, Kaiba was getting complaints, as people blamed him for his Solid Vision technology. Trying to get to the bottom of it, someone bought his company behind his back; Dartz. Suddenly, Kaiba gained a special magical card, The Fang of Critias, which allowed him to combat Dartz's dark powers. One of Dartz men, Alister, had it in for Kaiba, blaming his father for destroying his town and killing his brother. But after he was dealt with, Kaiba sided with Yugi to duel Dartz, and then, with Joey, fought the leviathan that Dartz wanted to release. After all was won, the Critias card left him.
Things became quiet, after the whole Grand Championship at Kaiba's new KaibaLand in America, where his rival company tried to sabotage it. Kaiba been working on project in hopes to win back people's respects after it was shoken by Dartz.
