He's a bit impulsive... okay, very impulsive, and has a tendency to overestimate his own abilities. As such, he may land himself in hot water from time to time. In addition, his sister means everything to him; if she were to be harshly wounded, he would seriously flip out.
Personality:
The complete opposite of Luna, Leo is lively and carefree, but does know when it's time to get serious. If there's one thing you could say about Leo, it's that he's devoted to his sister and her wellbeing; somehow being the only one able to wake her up when she's let her spirit enter the Spirit World of the Duel Monsters. Above all else, he would do anything in his power to save her, even if it'd cost him his own life.

History:
Years prior, Leo had aided his sister somewhat in helping the Duel Spirits of the Spirit World, but... that's more her territory. His story would begin as he and Luna encountered an amnesiac Yusei Fudo not too far from their estate. Leo dueled him in an attempt to get him to remember his identity; though he lost, it did work, and Yusei even repaid them by modifying their Duel Disks so that they weren't so heavy and cumbersome.
As Luna wanted to not participate in the Fortune Cup, Leo resolved to disguising himself as his own sister; dueling in her stead, but unfortunately being knocked out of the tournament by Greiger. During a consolation match between Luna and Professor Frank, however, they were both hypnotized by Lazar; letting Leo spill out that he was subconsciously determined to aid Luna with the Duel Monsters Spirit World however he could. They snapped out of the trance with the end of the duel before anything wicked could occur, thankfully.
At the end of the Fortune Cup, Leo, along with his sister, learns what a Signer is. Worried that Yusei would be going by himself to Satellite after what the Dark Signer said, he wonders if his own Power Tool Dragon would be able to fight alongside the Signers. Though Luna only said yes in order to cheer him up, Leo took this to mean that he was actually the fifth signer. He proposed to locate Akiza so they could enlist her aid, but when they arrived at the Arcadia Movement's base, Sayer had Leo chained up, and engaged him in a brutal battle. Despite his determination after Summoning "Power Tool Dragon", Leo loses the duel. Thankfully, he and Luna are saved by Tanner and Yanagi.
After this, Leo seems to accept the fact that he is not a Signer, thinking that they wouldn't have to follow the others into Satellite, and that they would only be burdens to the others. However, Luna told him that he doesn't need to be a hero; just to be there to protect her as he promised from the start. With this, he did eventually resolve to go to Satellite alongside her, just to keep her safe.
When they all arrive to Satellite they are greeted by Martha. Later on, as each one of the Signers is set on defeating certain Dark Signers, the group split up to each of the four control units of the Original Ener-D Reactor. As Luna and Leo are taken by Trudge to where Devack is waiting, Luna instead traveled into the Duel Monsters Spirit World in order to free Ancient Fairy Dragon. Due to this, Leo bravely challenges Devack to a Duel in her place, as he is determined to fulfill his promise of protecting her. Even with the handicap of not being a Signer, with the aid of Power Tool Dragon, Leo destroys Devack's Zeman the Ape King, but is backed into a corner with the appearance of the Earthbound Immortal Cusillu. Thankfully, Luna comes back in the nick of time, and with that, she uses Ancient Fairy Dragon and Power Tool Dragon in conjunction to defeat Devack.
With the end of the Dark Signer incident, Leo enlisted into the New Domino City Duel Academy alongside Luna. Around this time, Lester enters the Duel Academy, and with Luna getting friendly with him, Leo grows increasingly suspicious of him; especially since Lester does all he can so he can keep him separated from his sister. Figuring that Lester had ill intentions, he discovers that he duels with something dubbed a Duel Board. With this, he asks Yusei to build him something similar, which he gains some experience in riding. He meets with his sister, but her board suddenly goes out of control, and a mysterious figure, who Leo indentifies as Lester, appears to duel them. Though they fought valiantly, Leo was nearly killed during the duel, leaving Luna to finish the duel.
As of now, Leo, alongside Luna, is part of Team 5D's pit crew.
