VERY overconfident. He'll often underestimate his foe and lose badly if it's a very skilled one, not the most level headed guy. On rare occasions when he loses so badly, he'll go into depression. Also too hotblooded for his own good and often ends up in hot water a lot.
Personality:
Energetic, social, and hotblooded, Jaden is a spirited young man with a lot to prove. Some say he's a real underdog, and they'd be right. Jaden's always taking things with a smile and always plays with the cards he's dealt with talent. He'll always lend a hand to his friends when they need him most. Also a bit stubborn too. Looks up to major league duelists, especially Yugi.

History:
Jaden grew up like most normal kids his age, in a world filled with duel monsters. He loved the game of course. He played with other kids all the time, and his favorite card was "Yubel". However, when he played that card, terrible things happen to the kids after the duel. This made them oust Jaden from their group, leaving him alone. When Jaden won a contest from Kaibacorp, through the new card designs he made, he was allowed to put anything he wanted in their space capsule. He decided to put in Yubel, believing the card was cursed. After that point, Jaden went back to his normal life and eventually forgot about the card. His parents sent him off to a private academy, in hopes to help him forget about Duel Monsters and focus on other things. To his luck, duel monsters was very popular in the school he was sent to. Which only fueled his spirit for the game more...
