Taking that file, she nodded, as she began looking through it. "...on that note... what do you know regarding the subject of Chaos?"

@nemain@ "Chaos?" She blinked. "Well, it's something we Shadow Knights specialize in.." She thought. "What do you mean exactly?"

"...I'm referring to the monsters closest associated with Chaos." Yubel mused. "A curious coalition between light and dark, with power said to be unmatched." She looked at Nemain then. "...you have heard of these before, right?"

@nemain@ "Oh, I see now...do you mean the Envoys?"

"Precisely. The wild cards of this world." she spoke, as she looked through the file again. "Neither Ha Des, Nightshroud nor any other force could hope to convince either of them to join their cause... though others have seen their abilities as interesting; enough to emulate them..."

She held the file out for Nemain to observe. "Take a look." And highlighted were two pictures...

@nemain@ She looked wide eyed at the two figures. "Oh my...who are they?"

"Demise, King of Armageddon, and Ruin, Queen of Oblivion." Yubel spoke, as she looked through the file. "They rule their own kingdom of darkness in solitude... but they have been trying to emulate the raw power of both Envoys for as long as they've had their kingdom running. An alliance with them would be most beneficial to Ha Des' rule."

@nemain@ "...hm, how interesting." She nodded, putting a hand under her chin. "The Dark Dictator would be interested to meet them as well...between all of us, we could put more leverage against Nightshroud."

"...promise me this, though." Yubel mused, as she glanced at Nemain. "Until further notice... allow Ha Des to believe that he's in absolute control. He can't learn that alliances are being made without his input..."

@nemain@ "Of of course." She smiled. "Seems like he's a little...overconfident anyway." For lack of a better world.

"...putting it mildly, to say the least..." Yubel mused, as she closed her eyes.

@nemain@ She giggled. "I suppose so. Seems like he's more a figurehead than anything. An avatar for greater forces to take advantage of..." She looked at Yubel. "In fact, you seem a lot more threatening than he is, if you ask me."

"...hm." Yubel simply rose, as she closed the file, before putting it back into its respective cabinet. "Though he is foolhardy, don't underestimate him." she remarked; as if ignoring Nemain's comment about her. "He is dangerous, even if he's a mere figurehead."

@nemain@ "I suppose so. Even the smallest of bugs can still have a lethal bite." She turned to the door. "Well, I must thank you for sharing everything here. I know I promised not to tell Ha Des about our plan with the King and Queen, but may I at least tell my current leader of it? He wouldn't tell a soul."

"...I had plans to see the King and Queen anyway, before feeding Ha Des some nonsense that the two of them joined him of their own free will." she spoke, as she gave Nemain a nod. "I would be glad to accompany you... but first, I'd like you to do me a favor."

She then pointed to what seemed to be a freezer door on the opposite side of the room. "...mind fetching some slabs of meat from there? I need to feed the creature."

The rotting being, having been ignored for this long, simply groaned as it shook against the chains.

@nemain@ She looked over. "Oh, of course..." She came over and took the large slabs, bringing it over. "Dear me...he certain looks like he could eat a lot..."

"...be thankful that I keep him locked up." she mused, as she took the slabs before tossing them into the cage.

The creature, seeing the meat being tossed at it, swiftly shot down to tear into the meat; ripping out fat chunks of flesh in a ravenous, visceral manner.

@nemain@ She gritted her teeth a bit, disgusted by the beast's feeding habits. "...I shouldn't be so stunned...I do study corpses, but..." She shook her head. "A.anyway, is that everything, miss Yubel?"

"...that would be all." Yubel nodded, before she began heading out; unlocking the door for Nemain. "We leave as soon as I let Ha Des know that I'll be gone for a bit."

@nemain@ She followed. "Very well then..." She looked back at the creature briefly before leaving the room.

The subsequent meeting could be summarized as such.

"I'll be gone for a while."

"Alright, have fun."

And she left the throne room, with Nemain in tow. "Simple enough... now, lead the way."

@nemain@ "I will." She nodded, taking a brief wave at Ha Des. "Till the next meeting, take card, lord Ha Des!" She lead off, feigning her sweet tone somewhat.

"Same to you two!" Ha Des called with a laugh and a wave as the two of them left...

...

"...now... what to do about Hamon and Uria..." With a small hum, he rose from his throne and rubbed his chin. "...Skull Archfiend!"

Suddenly, a towering, skeletal fiend appeared behind Ha Des; bowing. "What is thy bidding, my master?"

"Study the notes about the other Sacred Beasts. I need to learn more about the other two... know what to expect, and how to deal with them."

"Thy will be done, my master." With a cold nod, the archfiend suddenly vanished.

"...the game is afoot, Nightshroud..." he hummed, as he looked outside with a smirk. "...and soon, I'll be stacked with the winning hand."
