With a small gulp, she drew her next card. [dice=5] And seeing that... she just blinked, before she looked over her hand. ...wait... what's with these...? Looking back at Misty, she hummed. ...well... it's worth a shot, I guess? "I'm gonna sacrifice one of my fairies, Hikari, to summon a monster!" The smaller fairy closed her eyes with a small smile, before she faded away in a glimmering light. "Okay..." With a nod, she set the card down. "I'm gonna summon... Fortune Lady Earth!" With those three words that would suddenly twist everything Misty thoughts was proper, a more mature monster appeared on the field in Hikari's place. "Her ATK and DEF increase by 400 for each level she has; and she's level 6, so that's 2400." With a serious hum, the fortuneteller simply held her staff ready, glaring at her opposition. "And..." As she looked her hand over, she hummed just a touch. "...I'll... set one card face-down, and turn Swee into Defense Mode. That should... do it." "...you might destroy all those cards... but not this one!" Carly yelped, as she held her hand out. "I'll activate the Quick-Play Spell I put down... Time Passage!" Even in the midst of this raging storm, one of her cards flipped up.  The moment the card appeared, several clocks suddenly appeared around Earth, speeding up time around her. "For just a turn, Earth's level increases from 6 to 9; giving her another 1200 ATK until you end your turn!" Indeed; Earth's ATK swiftly rose up... ATK: 3600 ...but in that instant, she suddenly aimed her staff at Misty, and a black sphere of energy shot towards her. Much to her surprise. "Bwuh?! It had that kinda effect too?!" |

At first, it was what you'd expect from Carly's deck; the Fortune Fairies, spells and traps... ...but then Earth showed up again. And directly behind her was Fire. And there was Water, Wind, Light and Dark... and cards supporting them... it was as if partway through Carly's regular deck, these Fortune Ladies had seeped into it to spread their influence. "...what's the matter?" |
