Domino Park: A Dragon?

"Alright..." Said a young man, as he walked along a path down the park. He looked down at a letter. He put some finishing touches on the paper back at his house after he left Alexis', and he wanted to mail it into Industrial Illusions. He took a shortcut through the park though, just to save on time. He hasn't dueled since he left Alexis' either. It felt...different. But the break wasn't entirely bad. At least he didn't have to think too much on his problem.

"Bloody hell..." Moaned a voice, lying on a park bench...



...it was him, holding onto Chazz's black coat. "What a week..."

[kelik]

He blinked as he noticed that coat, and stopped. "Huh? Hey, is that..." He remembered that coat alright. Chazz was always seen with it over his shoulders for some reason. "Hey, buddy." He came up. "Where'd you get that, jacket?"

He sat up. "Oh, this...? Zane Truesdale asked me that yesterday... I saw Chazz threw it to the floor and walked off after the tournament was over..."

[kelik]

"So it is Chazz's..." He came up. "I almost never see him without that, you'd figure it was his favorite..." He started thinking about the rich jerk.

[Ninetalesuk]

He sat up. "Well, I saw your Duel against him... his loss must have hit him pretty hard..."

[kelik]

"!" He looked surprised at that. Jaden had never noticed, but now that he thought about it...Chazz had been acting pretty mad around him. Of course, Jaden also had the crazy thought that they were friends, but I digress! "I see...you think he joined that school because of that...?"

[Ninetalesuk]

"Maybe... but, they say if you join the school, you could evolve your skills as a Duelist to Pro..." He said, getting up. "And I can see why... Hikari School's number one Duelist is Aster Phoenix... and the manager of Aster also owns that school."

[kelik]

"Aster's manager?" He blinked, trying to remember. "...wait, I think he might've been at the tournament."

[Ninetalesuk]

"His name is Sartorius..."



"...not much is known about him, but he's a fortune teller... and considering the colour of his school and the name, I think he likes light and white a lot..."



"I saw a limo drove off before Chazz threw his coat down and walk away... I think he must have spoken to Sartorius..."

[kelik]

"Huh..." He blinked. "Sartorious...that's one heck of a name for a manager."

[Ninetalesuk]

"No kidding..." He sighed, looking at the coat. "I was planning to give it back to Chazz, but... considering he threw it to the floor..."

[kelik]

"Guess this means he really doesn't wanna come back..." He sighed, the letter in his hand slipped a bit, before he clenched it again.

[Ninetalesuk]

"Duelist's pride is a complex thing... when I was beaten by Alexis, mine was rattled at the sudden turn about she gave me at that tournament..." He said. "Then, Chazz's must have been crushed... losing like that when both of his Five-Headed Dragons was destroyed and his untouched LP hit 0."

[kelik]

"Hm...duelist's pride..." He thought. "...maybe that's my problem."

[Ninetalesuk]

He blinked. "...your problem? I take it you're upset at your loss against Aster?"

[kelik]

"A bit...honestly, I felt like it was too short." Jaden said. He did feel like the duel with Aster was rather fast, and he didn't get to enjoy it...but then again, he did feel overwhelmed. "...anyway, after that duel, I...well it's weird, but I can't see my cards."

[Ninetalesuk]

He blinked. "...can't see your cards at all? That's very odd..."

[kelik]

He nodded. "Yeah...Alexis told me I needed to lay off dueling for a while. But..." He rubbed his head. "It's just so hard, ya know? I haven't dueled all day yesterday..."

[Ninetalesuk]

"I haven't Dueled since the tournament... which is a shame..." He sighed. "There are decks I want to use in that tournament... before Alexis beat me."

[kelik]

"Didn't work out huh..." He took out his own deck, looking at it a bit. "My deck is different too, though...?" He blinked a bit. The top card of the deck started clearing up a bit...not entirely, but it seemed better than before.

[Ninetalesuk]

"There was one deck I wanted to use... my new deck containing the legendary Dark Magician..." He sighed.

[kelik]

He looked through the few cards at the top of his deck, noticing they were clear enough to be played...he wasn't sure how long it would last, but... "...then why don't we duel?"

[Ninetalesuk]

He blinked. "...you sure?"

[kelik]

He nodded. "My deck is clear enough today...oh!" He blinked. "Maybe it's because I laid off dueling for a whole day! Yeah, that might be it!"

He shrugs, getting his Duel Disk. "Very well... the name is Bastion Misawa, by the way..."

[kelik]

"Nice to meet ya, Bastion. Name's Jaden. Jaden Yuki!" He grinned and stepped back, taking his duel disk out. "So, who should go first?"

[Ninetalesuk]

Selecting his Dark deck, he shuffled and slots it in. "You shall!"

"Ok!" He drew. 'So far so good...maybe it won't go today...' "Ok, I summon Masked Hero Fountain!"



The aquatic hero appeared, crossing his arms.

"I'll add a Mask Change from my deck to my hand." He held it out. "Then I'll set two cards and throw it to you."
