And a customer just walked in, without even noting for the signs of the store being closed. He just even walked in the back.

For it's Duke Devlin! "Hey guys! Did...uh, what happened to the old man?"

"...uh... he just fainted after hearing about his Blue-Eyes working somehow." Tristan remarked to Duke.



And he was panicking himself. "Grandpa, wake up!" he called as he shook him somewhat.

"Ugggh...Yugi...the Americans are invading us with dragons...fetch me my gun..." he muttered in his sleep. That's right...he now fell asleep.

"...ugh..." She groaned in relief, facepalming at that.




"...What do you think? Should we go in or pop back later?" He asked.

"Yeah, might be a good idea." He walked off. "I gotta get this letter sent out anyway."

"Oh, Duke! It's good to see you." she beamed a smile toward him.

"Hi, Serenity..." She muttered, exhausted from what happened today...




"Hmm..." And followed Jaden.

"Eh, I think he'll be okay if he's snoozing like that." he sighed.

"Where am I...? ZZzzzz...Shut up, Mokuba...Zzzzz...."

".....so uh...guys, you hear about that new tournament Pegasus just threw?"

"...oh, yeah, we did, actually." Tristan nodded. "Supposed to be a triple team sort of thing."



"Really? I wasn't aware of that..."



Yugi didn't say anything, but he blinked. It was strange, but it also sounded like something Pegasus would think of.

[Ninetalesuk]

"Neither was I..." She said. "Tell us more..."

[AnT]

"Well its a worldwide tournament where you duels teams across the globe."

[Ninetalesuk]

"Seriously?!" She gawked. "Worldwide?!"

[Alien-Child]

"In other words a chance to show the world just awesome I am!" Joey grinned.


"World... wide? Jeez, is everyone coming to Domino City for this?"

"I don't know. But I know I'll be rooting for Joey for sure!" She smiled, then thought. 'Oh wait...world wide? Maybe Mai will attend...'

[AnT]

"No, it means people will travel the world just to duel in various countries."

[Ninetalesuk]

"Travel the world?!" She blinked. "Whoa... this is much bigger than an island Duelist Kingdom and Battle City! But, teams...?"

[Alien-Child]

"Uh.... wait, if we have to travel the world for this, do we have to pay for the airline tickets?"

[AnT]

"This is Pegasus." he smirked, rubbing his fingers like he has money. "He can buy anything." Looking at a flyer, "But people are signing up, fast. Pegasus can't afford the entire world airline tickets."

".....I dunno...." She admits, arms crossed. "...Duel Monsters tournaments usually end up with major problems... Duelist Kingdom, Battle City, KC Grand Championship..."

"...and with Pegasus heading things..." Yugi sighed. He wasn't too sure on what to expect from that fellow...



"Well, we got through those without any problems, so hopefully this one should be a cinch as well!"



Humming, Rebecca rubbed her chin. "...worldwide, hm... this could be an unique opportunity..."

"Well, at least Yugi can decide if he should join or not..." She said, smiling. "Sure, Joey would join and get his butt kicked... but, what reason do you need to join this tournament, Yugi...? Think about it! You only entered the previous three for soul saving, mystery solving and need the means to come back home..."

[AnT]

And suddenly, the voice spoke in his mind again. "I do believe with the Number cards around, people would think their powers would win them this tournament. It could become chaotic if that were to happen."

Yugi hummed upon hearing both voices.



...we've already seen the chaos these Numbers can unleash. I think our choice is obvious.



"...I... have my reasons." Yugi spoke up, as he rubbed his neck. "...yeah, why not? I'll join the tournament, too."



He grinned. "That's our boy!"



She clasped her hands together. "Just what I'd expect from you, Yugi!"

She sighed with a small smile. "...why am I not surprised...?"

[Alien-Child]

"When did KFC held a tournament?" Just when she was getting used to duel monsters.

[AnT]

"...." She maybe clueless about dueling, but he still hit it. "So Yugi...it's a three man team. So who you team with?"

"Oh, right. You need a team for this, don't you?"

"Right..." Yugi nodded, as he rubbed his chin. "...well, I think it depends on who else is going to join the tournament. Joey's joining for sure, that much I know..."



"I might join in." Tristan hummed. "Could be a good excuse to try out my Six Samurai deck more."



"I'll join in, too!" Swiftly, she grabbed Yugi's hand with a wide smile. "We can team up together, Yugi!"



A slightly awkward smile crossed his lips, as he laughed somewhat sheepishly. "Um... I don't know about that..."



She blinked. "Why not?"



"...well, you're ranked as one of the best players in America, and... well, people consider me one of the best players around here. Some people might call foul if we're both on the same team."



"...oh." As if that was completely obvious, she let go of his hand with a nod. "You're right; it doesn't sound fair in the slightest." She then smiled. "Alright; we'll just have to do our best with our own teams."

[Ninetalesuk]

"I'm... not sure if I should join in..." She admits. "I'd like to use my new Spellcaster deck with Dark Magician Girl more often... but, is this tournament a good idea for me to do it?"

[AnT]

"Well who else are you gonna have on your team, Yugi? You can't join this tournament without two people with you."

"Ah ha!!" Bolting off the couch, the old man grabbed Yugi's puzzle. "The Millennium Puzzle!! I solved it!! After all my years of trying, I finally succeeded." And then, he swirled his head, still in a daze. "Why don't I remember doing that?"
