His eyes narrowed... "...your ogre doesn't scare me." Kalin uttered, as he stood ready. "Go on... see if you can kill a God of Death!"

@lawton@ He laughed. "You've given up, haven't you, Kalin?" He looked over. "After taking so many lives down, I wouldn't be surprised..." He pointed. "Fine! Then I'll gladly put you out of your misery! FIRE!!!"

The ogre turned his gatling gun on Kalin, and turned the crank...letting out a fatal barrage.

...he fell for it.

Swiftly, he crossed his arms as the relentless barrage of bullets hammered mercilessly against him...

LP: 0!!!

...but... none of the Duel Disks signalled that Kalin had been knocked out.

Breathing, he glared defiantly at Lawton. "...hmph... you can't... kill a God of Death... that easily."

And at this point... something had appeared before Kalin.

With a defiant look, Kalin glared at Lawton. "...how about it...? Do you still feel lucky enough to kill me... punk?"

The fiendish idol simply hovered in place, as it observed Lawton.

@lawton@ He was seething. No one ever survived his one turn kill...sure, people could avoid it. But this man managed to withstand it entirely! "....heh...eheheheheheheh..." He laughed. "Oooh that was clever, Shinigami...you still have some tricks up your sleeve...but!" He rose the rest of his hand. "I'm not done yet! I'll make sure this next barrage kills you!!!" He set the rest of his hand down.

And the ogre reloaded his ammo.

@lawton@ "Now DIE! SHINIGAMI!!!" He thrust his hand out.

The bullets soared through the sky at blazing speed...

...but suddenly, all of the shots were... shot out of the air.

"...bullseye." he uttered, as a ghostly figure appeared on the field...

@lawton@ "Wha?!" He looked stunned at that, as he stepped back. "W.what is that!?"

"...Infernity Des Gunman... my ace in the hole." he spoke, as he held his duel disk up. "One of the cards I discarded to summon Infernity Zero... and now, I've banished him to negate the damage you could have dealt to me..."

Then, he closed his eyes. "...unless... you're feeling up for a game of... Russian Roulette?"

As he said that, the wicked gunman began twirling his revolver around, as he glared at Lawton.

@lawton@ "Russian...Roulette?" He repeated, still stunned at what just happened.

He held up his Duel Disk, as he set his hand on the top card of the deck. "...if you wish it... I may draw one card. If it's a Spell or a Trap card, then I take the damage from your effect regardless of Des Gunman's ability... but if it's a Monster card... you suffer that damage instead."

As he spoke, Des Gunman wandered towards Lawton; aiming his revolver straight at his temples.

"...do you feel brave enough... to finish me off in one strike? And if you are... will you be lucky enough?"

@lawton@ "!" He grunted when the gunman stepped up, and growled. "You rotten..." He started to sweat. 'I could take the guess, and if he draws a spell or trap, I win! But...if he draws a monster...' He gritted his teeth. 'I can't let him play this game...I'm in control, and I'll keep it that way!' "...I choose to decline your offer."

With that, the Des Gunman faded from view.

"I have never seen such a careless Duelist in my entire life..." He said, glaring at Lawton. "You better not run away like you did in your Turbo Duel..."

@lawton@ "...hmph." He held his hand out. "I activate my trap from the grave!"

The platform whirled into life as something appeared on top and moved out...
