One of the men held out a walkie-talkie... @malcolm@ " Sorry for tricking you... but, desperate times called for desperate measures..." @greiger@ "Malcolm, what is the meaning of this?!" @malcolm@ " Greiger, did you know Radley and I made a deal when we've started off our sunset Duels...?" @greiger@ "A deal...?! What sort of deal?!" "Radley and the boss would each choose a Duelist to act out as a shield! Once the shield is defeated, then the boss of the gang would be challenged... and if the boss of the gang is defeated..." @malcolm@ " ...the town will belong to the victor!!!" He laughed. @greiger@ He stood in shock at this... @malcolm@ " However, my shield is my little brother, Lawton, whom was away..." He said. " While Radley's shield was Kalin... the undefeated Death God... with Lawton returning and the Death God unstoppable... we feared it would have been us going into the mountains... until Barbara found a light... The guns pointed at Greiger, making him stop... @malcolm@ " The sun hasn't set, thus we still have time to bring Radley down..." He continued. " Looks like we'll be getting the town much, much earlier than expected... I want one of you guys to take something from the Death God and bring it back to town as proof that he has fallen..." "All right, sir! What about these two...?" @malcolm@ "Listen to Barbara... she'll know what to do... take care now..." And the walkie talkie went off... |

"...no!" All of a sudden, Kalin managed to shove Barbara away from him.

With a scowl, she suddenly slammed the butt of her machine gun against Kalin; knocking him against the ground. "What's this, now?! Is that your duelist's pride kicking in, all of a sudden?!" Hissing, she actually stomped her foot down on Kalin. "You have no such pride to speak of!"

Kalin merely winced as he was kicked while he was down.

With a huff, she glared at the men. "Take them to the mountain! Let the God of Death see what he's reaped during these six months." With that, she began walking away from him. "And bring his Duel Runner down to town; that'll be the mark of proof for Radley's Bunch."

He simply grit his teeth whilst waiting for the inevitable.

As for Kalin, some of the men just grabbed him by his arms and dragged him off; laughing wickedly at his misfortune.

Even as she began heading off down the mountain, she couldn't help but start laughing herself.

Watching high above where no one can see him... was a long, one-wheeled Duel Runner... "...I'm too late... the plan has been set into motion..." The rider said, watching the plan of Malcolm and Barbara unfolded. He glanced forward. "...but, I won't let it end like this..." And he rode off without a noise... |
