"AAAAAH!!!" Seeing Neos glowing and shrinking into a card, Yuma struggled to reach for it... "Got it!!"
"AAH!!" And suddenly shot up from his bed. Panting, his mind slowly caught up with the sudden change of scenery...his dark room. "It...it was a dream?"  "Yuma...you are back." a voice, sounding like soundwaves, spoke. "Uh...what do you mean 'back', Astral? I just had a dream. That doesn't mean I left."  Sitting in mid-air was a humanoid being, made of energy, with spiky hair. "Your presence seemed to have left you body. It was as though your body was empty for the moment." "Huh??" Leaping off his bed, he glared at the floating man. "What does that mean?! Are you saying it wasn't a dream?" "...I am not sure what happened with your astral spirit...but I assume that is correct." "...." If that was true, how did it happen? Was Astral was just messing with him? And why does it feel he's holding a.... "....card?"  "......whoa..." |

Lazily, Astral floated after him, invisible to the citizens that traveled the same path. "Human observation number 76. Yuma, as usual, was being the fool. That card is no ordinary card. Something about it links to something ominous.
Heartland Middle School...  A normal school, featuring normal classes...of the future. Like many schools, kids stand around the courtyard, waiting for classes to start. And like many, kids carry children's trading cards. "Heeeeeey!" he called to his friends, racing up to them. |
